My brother has sleep apnea. He had to sleep with this contraption on for a while so they could measure it. Poor SIL couldn't stand his snoring. (DH is not better, but I just shove him off to one of the spare rooms )

my neighbor is complaining about the dogs barking (dogs bark ya ole' bag... GET OVER IT!)

Oh my, is that our little Kimmie getting tough with the neighbors??!! You go girl! Sic the dog on the old hag! Want som boxing lessons, or do you just want me to come over there and punch her lights out?

We were talking about this at work today. I feel unorganized. I have 1 more present to buy, and I will have to wrap that plus two more. This weekend I have to make home gravy (Italian sauce), do some grocery shopping, and get other things organized. My only saving grace is that I am off next week (yea, lost of DISing ) Hang in there. Sending you tons of holiday getting ready *PD*.

Pam dear, paisley is beautiful. You can wear any color top with it. I prefer a striped top with the paisley pants. Sooooo chic, ya know.

Wow, we were quiet today, weren't we? Me thinks we will all get pretty mothy again after the holidays.

Marilyn I had the mexican food and so far it seems to be setting well with me with NO MEDS!!! I didnt take them just to see what would happen. I even had mild sauce on my Tacos!!! I really pigged out tonight and wasnt the least bit careful. I was starving after not eating all day.

I have a feeling we will end up with a CPAP machine for dh also until he loses some weight. Its kind of a vicious cycle. He snores worse because of his weight but he doesnt have the energy to exercise because of the apnea and snoring. He is hoping once the apnea is taken care of he will have more energy to exercise and lose weight.

Ah... Todd has a Christmas baby too! Oye... it's sometimes a struggle to keep the birthday thing separate from the Christmas thing... Tom's b-day is the 28th. This is THE craziest week of the year for me.

Come punch her lights out pleeeeeze Marilyn. I'm afraid I'm not very tough. The woman seriously needs to get a life! There are 9,000 dogs in the neighborhood, but because she is closest to mine, she assumes mine are the dogs that do all the barking. Get real lady!! We ordered some of those sonic no bark collars last night. They do bark, but not excessively. The problem is, there are three of them and when one goes, they all go. Frankly, I hate it too... but don't really know what to do about it. Anyone know if those collars work? I didn't want to do the shock thingys... too cruel... so thought we'd try to sound collars instead.

RATS... cumby phone call and now I have to go read to Emily....I'll be back in a bit.

I don't know if I told you all I have not spoken to either of my brothers or their families since last christmas. THe wives did some absolutely awful hurtful things last year and I just decided I couldn't do it anymore. My poor brother...stuck in the middle......well, now everyone wants ME to make nice so that there won't be tension on christmas eve. Sigh...I'll have to suck it up and do it. Pretend no one hurt my feelings or insulted my family. (Ed's company had filed for chapter 11 and he was out of a job for 7 months, they in many was used that to kick us when we were down.)


Thanks for the chetto launching girls!! I needed a little visual diversion!!!

Weather here is ok now that the temp has gone up. It was pretty icy until about 9:30 this morning.

Kim....I'm so behind too.....I don't think I like taking vacation in Dec. It just really screwed up my Christmas prep time.

Oh I got DD's present. Went with a necklace. Heart shaped with rubies and teeny, tiny diamonds (or so it said)

And DS told me today that when he graduates in March and moves to a new apartment he and GF are moving in together. I am NOT ready for this!!
