Jodie...I have one started just like you described....but the last few years we never got to updating it...and .....well...it's sort of a sign of failer now for me.....I get frustrated everytime I look at it...I missed those years.......I know silly...but for my sanity I need a store bought one

Girl Scout propaganda thats a good one. Tim is our son's boy scout leader. Going much better this year. the mom that drove us nuts let her son quit. hated to lose the boy but she drove us nuts.

Oooo Beccy....know what ya mean about those "scout parents". I am blessed with great ones....we are all friends...but it only takes one to ruin the mix. I have seen a few of them come and go over the years. Their kids are usually the ones tht need scouting the most.

Jennifer I keep thinking about that leaders comment....it makes me so angry!!! To be a scout leader you have to love it and believe in the principles of scouting. Makes me wonder why she is doing this? My next door neighbor is exactly like her and it drives me NUTS!!!!

Okay I tried to catch up but I can't. Busy meant I had a last minute appointment to get my hair done. The person I used to go to moved to a new salon that is just too far away so since I didn't have anyone in particular in mind to do my hair when I called they got me in today. So I didn't get home until 7 and then I grabbed dinner and headed over to my dad's for a while. Finally at 8 I was home again

So sorry I am missing a lot, I just am way too behind and it is close to bed time

Awwww, sorry I'm driving you nuts! yeah, I wondered why she's doing it too. Holly (my neighbor) says she NEVER plans meetings...just "goes with it" What "it" is I don't know.... she made the propaganda remark when we were talking about web sites. ( I got several things we did tonight from makingfriends.com) and she says..."oh this looks like a good one...not like the GS one you sent me, Holly......GS slash propaganda dot com" Wanted to slap her!!!

Beccy, I actually have a small troop of girls (8) and all the families are great! We had one "problem" family last year but they left....she was the leader I took over for!!!
The girls are having lots more fun this year!

MArion, a Dasy is a kindergarden GS. YEs, much like a spark, but I think Sparks start much younger.

Jodie I would never say this lady is a bad parent. Her kids are great! She is just very controling. Ever year the the scout troops from all the grades and puts together Christmas boxes for the Childrens home. Well last year both the 5 th and the 6th graders went to B-ball finals and they had to change the meeting day. Well she just threw a fit. She called and e-mailed someone about it everyday, us constantly. Well jump to the next month she couldn't make a meeting and expected everyone to change it to fit her schedule.
