Wooo hooo!!! You guys heard it! I have permission to flash. Oh...and no, it's not too young for Cam at all. We're talking about the kid that still loves his stuffed animals and Winnie the Pooh videos. He's just a little guy at heart. Thanks again Jennifer... it was so sweet of you to think of him! I go pick him up in an hour...he's going to love both the flashythingy and the little hat. I already have mine tied onto my backpack/purse.

Speaking of underwear (Marilyn)... I saw lime green undies today! No I didn't buy them.... I was afraid Marilyn might get hold of them and try to iron them.

I did a dumb thing in Gottchalks this morning. I walked by the Clinique counter, stopped and sprayed some of their fragrance Aromatics on my arm. Now this perfectly yummy scent is following me everywhere! Shoot! Now I'm going to have to go back and buy some. Speaking of fragrances and yummy stuff... a friend of mine presented me with a belated birthday gift this morning. Bath & Body Work's lavender/vanilla sugar body scrub and lotion. Oh my!! I just used the sugar scrub on my hands and I'm loving it! I'm thinking of taking a bath in it now.

Jeannie, I MADE the pie with my own two little hands. Well... not really. I opened the can, added milk, eggs and spices and poured it into a frozen crust. That's as close to homemade anybody is going to get around my house though.

Hmmmm....Karen all I can tell you about your 9 year old dising is that I considered letting my then 11 year od dd register on the dis. She had a screen name picked out too. Then there was a thread that gave a direct link to another site that showed (some argued this term...a lot!) pornographic photos. I changed my mind pretty fast. The teen board is just that...teens...good kids but...teens, not 9 or 11 year olds. I can't decide for you of course, this was just my experience...and there are some here who have called me "overprotective". We all have to do what we think is right for our petite Ya Yas...just be careful!


And Karen....BOK BOK BOK....what's Kim gonna do to ya??

Karen_ I used to peek in on the Teen Bds-very nice kids but I agree with Jodie, they're teens and may not be that interesting or appropriate for a nine year old. Maybe someone on the CB at large knows of a good and safe, moderated Kids bb that you might try. It's so iffy-I don't know what I'd do if I had kids-I think I'd be in the "overprotective" camp with you Jodie.

OK-now, ladies when your DH goes out and has a lunch meeting or well in my case it was a kind of lecture within Nick's department at school where they serve tea and gorgeous cookies afterwards-do you ask him to bring some back for ya? I know terribly tacky but I ask for a doggie bag-I don't care!!!! We're still sort of school kids-I guess when we get more "professional" I can't ask anymore... Anyway-I'm eagerly awaiting my cookie!!!
