Got home fromwork today and there was a box on the kitchen table!

Oh thank you sweet Kimmee. It is sooo wonderful.

First, a MOOSE ornament!!! (Bonnie, where the heck are you hiding my antlers??!!) He is just so cute. Has on a red and green knitted scarf with two jungle bells on it, holding a tree in one paw and a star in the other. Then a little feller that will get "front of the tree priority", an adorable little mouse (feels soft and furry like)holding onto a piece of snow-dabbed Holly. Soooo cute. A pair of wild santa socks that I cannot wait to wear to work. Two pots of hand balm...(I have on the vanilla cream right now...super stuff), and Yankee votive candles, one Christmas Cookie and one Balsam Fir. And all of this came with a darling card. Will take a picture of all of the wonderful things and post it this weekend.

Thank you sweetie. I love it all. What a wonderful package.

Ah....package arrival day!! I love reading about all these....one reason I adore all the exchanges....but YaYas are the best!!
Kim....you made me tear up (told you I cry at everything). It was so sweet and we can tell everything was really "just right".
Jennifer and Jodie...ya did good!!

I saw several moose ornaments today Made me think of you all. LOL...............I think a moose is defintiely our mascot!!

And....I have to agree. Kim's siggie picture needs changing!!

You are very welcome Marilyn. The little mouse is from an absolutely adorable collection called Charming Tails. I collect them. When I couldn't find a moose, I decided to get you something that I would've bought for myself. Naturally, about three days later, when I was back in the same Hallmark where I bought little... ummm... I think his name is Mackenzie, I found the moose ornament.

Nancy, you're right! Everything was perfect and exactly what I needed today. It's been a rough couple of days emotionally for me, and receiving Jodie and Jennifer's packages reminded me that someone out there cares. I needed that.

Jennifer, what is MNF night? Oh! Duh! Never mind... I just got it. LOL!!! See... if it doesn't involve skates, I'm totally clueless.

I've hesitated to mention this, because I didn't want to bring our thread "down"... but I'd really like to ask all of you to pray for a certain family tonight. Last week, our community experienced a tragedy. While gassing his patrol car, our DARE officer was gunned down. He was doing NOTHING but gassing his CAR!!!! They say he was shot "execution style".... they have no suspect and no motive. He was 31 years old, with a wife and a one year old son. Tomorrow, the community shuts down from 9-12 to honor him, and to pay their respects as the funeral prossession travels through town. Please pray for his family and for our community.
