Hey all!! Just stopping in to say hi!! I haven't read through the last 100 pages so I don't know what is going on...please forgive me...my mind is elsewhere...like DISNEY!! Whoo hoo...4 more days to go...well 3 1/2 now!! Anyway, just stopped by to show you my Dis Con Buddy lanyard...Lynne is my buddy as you know from my signature and I told her I would give her daily reports and pictures each day so she would feel like she was there!! So Kim and Elaine, we really need to get a picture of all of us with Lynne in it!!

Kim, I am so sorry about your Dare officer. My DD still talks about her Dare officer from 3 years ago, so I know they are a big part of the kids' lives. Prayers for your community and especially for that officer's family.

I joined Curves today. It should be interesting. I joined with my SIL so we are going to encourage each other. I want to lose 30-40 pounds more. I had lost 20, but some of them are creeping back on. Wish me luck.

Night all. I'm going to go curl up under my electric blanket and see if I can get into the Assassins book from the Left Behind series. These last two books have been hard to read (emotionally) but really making me think.

Curves is an exercise program designed especially for women. I watched tonight, it looked like fun. You complete the whole workout in 1/2 hour, and go anytime the place is open, so you're not tied to a particular night or "class". You alternate between resistance training and walking or running in place with 30 seconds at each station. You complete 3 circuits in 30 minutes. I have friends who are doing it and they highly recommend it, so we will see. They recommend you go 3 nights a week, but you can go more if you want.

Beanie, your Lynne lanyard is wonderful! It's going to be so much fun checking out the various buttons, pins, ribbons, etc...that all stand for our special Dis'er that we're bringing with us in spirit.

Bonnie, I belong to something exactly like Curves, but it's called Slender Lady. From the description you gave of Curves, they are exactly alike. I love it!!! It's a decent little workout, but it not too killer. I noticed a change within just a few weeks. I think you'll really like it.

I've read Assassins. I can't remember the content of that one specifically, but I've read all but The Remnant, the latest, in the series, I believe. I bought The Remnant as soon as it came out, but I haven't been able to make myself start it yet. I have to be in just the right mood to want to read the books from that series.

Oh yes, Allison was officially asked to Winter Formal today. We bought jewelry for the dress tonight. The stupid jewelry cost just as much as the dress. She has double pierced ears so that means two pair of earrings. Of course because it is strapless the necklace had to be of substance and then we couldn't resist the bracelet and the matching little elastic rings. I really didn't mind spending the money because it is nice jewelry that will go into my jewelry box.

Crude comments!?! Awww maaan! I thought I'd finally found a nice respectable one. Hmmm.... I guess I just have nothing but pure and innocent thoughts, because I thought this one was pretty respectable. Hey, at least he's not a headless nipple boy like Antonio. Shucks. Ok, well which ones have I posted before that were cuter? I could shrink the "Grace" picture and use it instead...no crude comments to be made there!!

Yay!! Allison is going to the Winter Formal!! Will we get to see a picture of her and her date all dressed up for the evening, Betty?

Hi everyone. Just taking a break from packing to see what's up. I'm leaving tomorrow for Thanksgiving in North Carolina. This will be nice b/c I'll be out in the boonies & can actually see the stars in the sky at night. Can't do that around here. All the city lights block out 90% of them.

Kim, I am so sorry to hear about the DARE officer. Prayers & PD for the family and friends.

I'm right there w/ you Kim. I've read all but The Remnant from Left Behind. I'm waiting for it to come out in paperback tho. I gotta say, those books sure hook you in and make you think.

Kim, Apolo looks like he is sitting on a hole for ice fishing but he isn't fishing. He looks like he just past gas.
