What a wonderful ending for a wonderful show.

I missed it and to be honest didn't realize it was the last one. Have they mentioned replaying it.

I hope they show a rerun...I watched it last night, but I missed the first part last week.

I missed the first part too..Last night had me in tears too, Robin. I have always been a big fan of the show. My fave and I still have on tape the the W. Rider episode with the child who is dying and they grant him his wishes so he can go peacefully. That one breaks my heart. I hope I can find a way to get the entire last two episodes on tape

I had no idea that show as still on. I could never get through an episode, too sad for me.

can someone fill me in? I watched al of saturday night's episode, but missed the last 20 minutes of sunday's episode. I was up to the part where they opened the church and found the children's things, and then the jury came back and found Zach guilty, and Monica went to his jail cell and told him she was an angel.


then my kids came home from spring break with their dad, and I was otherwise occupied and couldn't watch the rest of the show.

Waah! I missed it. I hope they show it again.

For those of you who didn't see it you obviously don't have the "walking TV Guide for TBAA", my son Michael in your face every moment! It's his favorite show and he has a library of tapes of it.

I know they will show these again and the last two will be available on video, just as the first was.

Saturday's show was about Monica's last assignment. She was told she was due for a promotion. She took a bus to a town of miserable people who lost 46 children and 8 teachers to a horrible school blast. On the way she met a very nice man who was amazed at how many people she had met and saved in her travels.

The nice man was recognized by a father of one of the victims as a person who was in the school the day of the blast. The town accused him as the person who set off the blast. There was a trial and they convicted him. Monica wanted so badly to save him and worked hard to but they wanted him dead. Satan showed up in the guise of a prosecuting attorney, quite interesting I might add, and was thrilled to put the nice man behind bars.

To make a loooong story short, the nice man turned out to be someone we never expected him to. The blast was found out to be caused by evil, not by good. Monica passed her test and was promoted.

The background behind the show got to me at the end, also. Roma Downey (Monica) married a man who was mentally abusive to him some years ago. I remember Della Reese stepping in and helping her out of the marriage. She said that she would NEVER allow anyone to hurt her "baby". At the end of last night's show she called Monica "baby" several times. I knew they truly cared for each other and the last show was a real goodbye. She told her "I SO love you" and you believed it!


FYI, with my son's help I added the theme song to my signature...

Yup, THE carpenter...I loved the words when he told her that had she known it was him, of course she would have done anything for him, but she had given everything for a stranger. Imagine what the world would be like if more people thought that way.


I love this show, and will continue to catch it on re-runs....

I just imagined those same words being told to BOTH my parents.
