:woohoo: I booked my airfare for FL!!!! :woohoo:

It seems so REAL now!!!!

I  my DH!!!!

wow --- its not even 7:30 here---

I have way too much energy!!! (and I don't even drink coffee!)

I am gonna crash hard around 10 am!!!

we have standarized testing today so I have to be really quite ......

YIKES!!! thats gonna be hard for me!!!

It's also BITTER cold today, only 3 right now, with hopes of a high in the TEENS!!!!

Well we had rain here last night which in turns means I didn't have any phone or internet. Placed my service call to the wonderful company who in turn tries to tell me it in a short inside my house. Okay fine. I pay for inside wire maintenance so come on in and fix it.

But the funny thing is, it only happens when it rains and guess what? It was not raining in my house. And the whole side of the house that has the phone box was not wet at all. So I would assume it was in the line but they tell me they tested it and it works fine.

Funny how my phone is so full of static you can't even hear the dial tone. Than it would ring busy and than go dead.

I told they last service guy to be prepared. EVERY TIME IT RAINS I will be calling. We used to just let it go and it would dry out and just sound like a tin can.

The guy last night said Mam, I see the last trouble ticket was closed and noted that the line was clear by the time the service tech arrived at your house. Yes that is correct but it was dry by than.

 :headache:

They are making me so flippin angry.

We've made it through half a week!!! gotta love it!!!

Did you survive all your meetings yesterday????

Barely! Click off one, call the next, then the next, then the next. Ach, what a pain! I needed rest after that!

It is supposed to get cold here tomorrow. But I am sure it will not get anywhere near your kind of cold.

Morning, Kelli!

Sorry to hear you had a bad time with the phone. We go thru the same scenario when it rains as well. We finally decided to start the in house wire maintenance last year, and have had to call them 3 times. Of course, right now, we are in a bit of a drought, so we haven't had any problems lately.

 :headache: O can understand the frustration!!! I hate it when they tell you, if its a problem in your house, we'll have to charge you! If it was a problem in my house I would have had it fixed by now!!! maybe you should take a hose to your roof and run water down the side of your house until they arrive, let them get soaked for a change. :headache:

I don't think FL needs anymore of a drought..... but maybe that will help

So far the probelm has never been inside the house. Even though they tell me that on the phone.

I have never had to use my inside wire maintenance but I bet the day I cancel that sucker I will have an issue.

I thought FL was looking like it was getting quite a bit of rain over the last few days. I didn't realize they were in a drought.
