I don't even think there is a fridays here.. I'm origanally from Massachusetts. I used to live in a little town called Plainville, it is right next to Foxborro

Wow, mountains.. We don't even have hills

How is it in the mountains? Are there shopping plazas by you or do you have to drive a distance

The mountains are absolutely beautiful!!

We're about 15 miles from town. For me to go to work I go 10-12 miles on a two lane road before I ever encounter a stoplight! Most of our county is very remote. Town isn't that large but we do have a Kmart, Walmart and a rather small mall. Not many good restaurants though. We are only about 10 miles from the TN and we can go over there to go to a bigger mall and for lots of restaurants.

My usual day is 5:30 - 6:00.

My days are crazy... that's why I am scare around here during the week.

4am up out of the house by 5 get back home anywhere from 9:45 pm - 11 pm (thursday is my early day I get home by 8:30)

We don't have any extended family. It's just DH and I and our 4 kids. DH and I are both only children and our parents are gone. Our oldest DD lives about 3 hours from here and our 3 DSs are still at home.

I feel blessed to have "met" a lot of very special people on the DIS and kind of think of many of them as our "extended" family.

We moved up here from FL to get away from the rat race. Slowly, over the last 17 years, we have found that the rats are started to find their way up here! It's changed a lot since we moved here but it's still nowhere close to what FL was like when we left there.
