Tell your DH happy fathers day. How was it?

Hard work. After breakfast, DH and I went outside and spent more than 2 hours outside weeding the garden. I'm sore all over.

Yeah, been here three nights. We only went up for the one night, it just wasn't the one we planned.

Well it was an overnight trip that we had planned. We just meant to get all the way to Tulare Tuesday night. Arline had a Dr appt (and bloodwork was ordered) she needed to pay her rent (and turn in some paperwork with respect to her cats), pay car insurance, we also picked up her records from the hospital where she was treated following her heart attack. The car was ready so once we finished our business we headed to pick up the car and back home.

She's here until Wed. When we'll take her home. Mid October she'll come back as we set her up with Fran's Cardiologist. When she was released from the hospital last weekend it was suggested she see one. We don't know if there is a decent one in Tulare, but Dr Mike is a great Dr. (hence the 2 month wait to get in as a new patient)

She just needed some time to rest following her 2 weeks of "vacation" where her daughter had her packing dishes for her move. Plus to maintain her low sodium/low calorie diet she did all the cooking for the two weeks.

Morning! I thought it was going to be another quiet day on LAST.


I'm heading out very shortly to drop DS at school and to catch up with my 70-something yo friend. She wasn't feeling so good on Thursday when I saw her.
