Thank you for the well wishes. I haven't heard from him in a while so he must finally be sleeping. I'm not sure if more places have taken hold as the news stories seem the same as before but just clarity of what he'd already told me.
They seemed to stop at the town north of him. Attacking a debenhams (like Macys).
But they might have moved back north or elsewhere.
What stopped them on Sunday night was heavy rain but theres been no more sign of rain.

20 books? I'm going to have to look for them in the library!

I'll give you a small spoiler, having listened to book 16, and in the middle of book one, I know she marries the obvious (although not so much in the beginning), evidently most of the books are about their exploits as Egyptologists. I should have known she'd read quite a few books when she pulled that line on me!

Have you read the Amelia Peabody books? I think they're by Evelyn Peters.

Okay. There seem to be some Amelia Peabody books by Elizabeth Peters at the library. Might see if I can get hold of at least one and see. I don't think they have the full series of 20....but I can only read and then request to see if they will purchase the missing ones.

See if they have the first one. It's pretty amazing how she sets up the character and continues being true to said character 16 books later. The books seem to start a little slow, but that's because there is a bit of groundwork to be laid before the story can progress. I'm looking forward to our drive home to find out what happens.
