there's a woman who works in my office building, I think I've mentioned her once or twice before, with a platinum blonde circa 1962 beehive hairdo. her clothes are equally flamboyant -- she looks more like a cast member of Hairspray than someone who works in the ultraconservative financial district, but I've seen her use an employee i.d. card inside my office building.
yesterday she wore -- get this -- an ankle-length dress, slit up one side, with spaghetti straps, in a multi-colored print, with hot pink being the predominant color. she had hot pink high heeled sandals and a hot pink cardigan draped over her bare shoulders.
to give you an idea of the "look" here's a photo from Hairspray. If the dress here were pink instead of blue, and had spaghetti straps instead of long sleeves, and no maribo --
