The KLM code

I tried signing up on the KLM site so I can get a rental car code. It looks like I signed up for Flying Blue. When I navigated to the car rental site, National doesn't appear to be an option. How are people getting this code?

Whoa, I can't find it. That's weird. Hopefully someone else will come along and help with navigation, but both on KLM and Flying Blue (one login works for both, for me at least) I cannot find National, or the code, at all. And I could before.

I haven't checked since last year. They must have dropped National.

The code (8572130) still works on the National website. If anyone is picking up a rental in the next few weeks with this code, can you let us know if you still get the rate? I have a reservation with the code in May

I would like to know that too. If KLM dropped National, why would the code still be valid?

If you go to the national site, click Partners, then International Airlines, it shows KLM/Flying Blue is still a partner. But if you click that logo and then reserve, it uses a different code which gives terrible rates.

I'm picking up a car with the good KLM rate in 2 weeks. Will update if there are any issues.

I know that I would not feel comfortable using it if I cannot find it on the KLM/FB website. I think the OP and I are simpatico on this one. Maybe KLM is just changing their site and the web-guy forgot to do that page. Or maybe National is the one who is behind, and by the time I get to the counter it's not going to be valid.

I emailed them as a member and asked if it was an oversight or not. I'd like to know what the official word is.

We're also renting from National using the KLM code from April 13th-20th in Tampa.
I called the other day, 3/30, and modified my reservation to include the recent $30 coupon.
My reservation confirm # was accepted, the coupon was accepted and my new total went down to $324 from $359 for a Luxury car.
