I took my boys to get one on our last trip It is worth it just to see it and say you did it, at least once. It was good-it's ice cream-what's not too like?? But after a bit, all those toppings get to be a bit much. The dish is a metal dish not something you get to keep sorry
Even though it's on the dessert menu, the thing is so big I couldn't dream of getting it as a dessert. At almost $22, it also adds up to a meal for us.
The sink itself is just the dish it comes in. Unfortunately, you gotta give it back. (Good luck getting that in your carry-on!)
The Kitchen Sink sundae is more of an event than a dessert! We had this for our last day in Disney as a special send off. Beaches and Cream has that mom & pop diner feel to it and sirens go off on the ceiling when you order it is delivered to your table.
Last night was our 100 days till Disney celebration and I made my own Kitchen sink sundae for my kids...they loved it!
During the past year I have heard my kids talking about the Kitchen Sink from our last trip over and over again!
Tip: take before and after pictures of your family eating the sundae it is great fun to see them later
This family gives the Kitchen Sink Sundae a 4 star rating! One star for the fun, two stars for the taste, 3 Stars for uniqueness and the 4th star for the memories made!!!!
