The Kitchen Character meal?

I just read on the Universal site that the Kitchen has character dinner on wednesday nights. Can anyone confirm this??? Has anyone done it? What is it like?? What characters did you see?? Thanks for any information or reviews...

You can stop at the conceriege desk and they will be able to tell you. We did the character dinner on Saturday night and it was Bart & Homer Simpson. DD really had not clue who they are, but she enjoyed meeting them and getting photos with them (otherwise she was in the Kid's Krib playing). The characters meandered around and stopped at the tables several times.

We were there 3 wks ago. Character nights are Wednesday and Saturday's starting at 6 pm. Wed night we saw Scooby.
