The kids finally know about the trip!!

Our fairygodmailer's post card finally made it to our house yesterday. It was the perfect way to let the kids in on the secret!

I called the 2 kids (7 & 10) into the living room and got my camera ready. I had them stand next to each other and read the card together...out loud! It was so cool to watch the expressions on their faces while they were reading the card. You sure could tell when they figured it out!! I got great pictures of them reading the card and also afterwards when they were soooo excited! My DD7 started bouncing all around like Tigger! It was sooo funny. Afterwards they were in shock and did not ask any questions for about 2 hours. THEN it started

What exactly is a fairygodmailer and how do you go about getting one?

We're going to be booking a trip here in the next few days for September and I think that would be a GREAT way to tell our kids about the trip!

There is a link on the Disboards for Families about fairygodmailers. You post a request on there and hopefully find someone who will send a postcard to your children from a character. In return you are requested to do the same for another family while you are on vacation.
