DS 5 took his bath before dinner he is so excited about SAnta coming. He wrote his letter and left it in the counter along with cookies, and milk. He went to bed a 7PM and was asleep by 7:15. DD 9 just went to bed a few minutes ago. Hopefully she will be asleep soon so Santa can put out the present and relax a little. Merry Christmas to all on the Dis Boards. Hope everyone get what they want for Christmas. Forgot to mention DS 5 told DH everything we bought him for Christmas. No suprises for DH this year.

Lucky you.

We have to go to church at 11 o'clock. Won't get home until near 1 AM. Luckily we can just tell our teenagers to go to bed and don't have to worry if they are actually asleep. I hope I can stay awake during the service.

Good for you. DD's and I are heading out for 8:30 mass and I'm hoping they'll be tired enough when we come home to fall straight into bed and sleep in a while in the morning! (I think I'm wishful thinking on the last part):)

Santa is really, really tired at my house...hope the kids go to bed soon, but not very likely.

Let's see , it's 8:22 pm and dd1 age 10 is in bed already sleeping, extremely unusual for her, but I can only hope she's not getting sick again. DD2 age 6.......that's another story, she's so wired that I do not think she will fall asleep anytime soon BUT she's in bed watching TV, that always helps.
I know we will be awake by 5 am......yep, 5 am.

DS 19 mos. is in the crib. DD 7 and DS9 are heading towards bed. It may be another hour or so before Santa arrives. I hear he is over the Atlantic Ocean right now. So east coast children better get in bed soon!

No one is near to bed to this house.
My 20 yr old son has gone to his girlfriends house, my 16 yr old daughter has gone to her cousin's house to help her paint her bedroom. My husband is upstairs watching tv or maybe sleeping and I am down in the basement watching While You Were Out, doing laundry and checking out the DISBoards.
Ah, so much for the days when the kids were waiting for Santa.

I think the only one going to bed will be me. This is the first year I have not been with my kids ( ages 26 and 30 ), although I will see them in a few days. I find it is harder than I expected.

It's also the first year I will not be spending Christmas day with my large family.

faithinkarma, will you be alone on Christmas. I hope not.
But if you are I hope that you do something extra nice for yourself. Have a nice long bubble bath, read a book, whatever is special for you.

Both of mine are in bed (togheter) asleep. We didn't tell them to go - although I did suggest 9 pm as bedtime. They didn't even say goodnight.
DH is asleep on the sofa.

We just got ours laid down and hopefully they will be asleep soon. Santa would like to get to bed a little early tonight because I know we will be up early tomorrow.

DD went to bed around 7pm. She fell asleep right away because I didn't let her take a nap today. :)

Santa was getting ready to do his thing when DD11 got out of bed to use the bathroom.....how late is Santa going to have to stay up this year???
