Your trip is so close! How exciting!

I might be misunderstanding the breakfast ADR situation, but if it is for 5 people, and you have 6, I don't think it would be a problem. They don't have tables that only fit 5, so most likely you'd be getting one that seats 6. So looking at it that way, you still have the same table reserved. Now if you were 4, and needed 5, then you would be taking a different size table and that might be more difficult. Make sense? I saw it explained somewhere once, probably when we were in the same situation! We had an ADR for 4, then my Mom went with but I couldn't get the ADR for 5, so I was concerned as well. We had to do that a few times, and we didn't have a problem.

Good info about the ADRs for breakfast. I am not sure if we'll do Tusker House anyway (since we're doing two others - and all dining if out-of-pocket for us). But if my instincts are right and MIL chips ina bit for meals (I have a feeling she will since we are paying for transporation and lodging while we are there!) then maybe we'll do it. I did call WDW to see if I could add MIL to the Sci-Fi ADR (which I could not, but that seating is a little different), but never thought to ask about Tusker House.

HELLO FELLOW PA DISNEY LOVER!! I am from PA as well (Lancaster area) and we are headed down to Disney the 12th thru the 20th as well! We are first sailing away on the Dream from the 12th thru the 16th and then headed to WDW until the 20th!
It's my DH (37), myself (36), DS "K" (17), DS "C" (12) and DD "L" (10) and the rest of the crew, inlaws, sis inlaws, bro inlaws and the nieces and nephews! There are 19 of us going to celebrate the inlaws 40th wedding anniversary.

Our first trip was in 2002, second 2005 and for our 10th wedding anniversary in 2008, my sis inlaws 10th wedding anniversary in 2009 (which we drove to and from, I loved the drive with the kids) and we have been planning this trip since May of 2010!! With 19 we had to start early!

It sounds like you guys are going to have tons of fun!!

Hello! Hoorway for PA trip to Florida in June!

Wow - I would love a great big trip like you are taking! I know my parents would love to do a trip with both my family and my sister's family. They've done WDW with each of us, but never at the same time. Have a great time on the cruise - it's something I have always wanted to do! And to end with a few days in the World - fantastic!

And we leave Saturday!

My clothes are pulled, but not yet in the suitcase. DH is doing his tonight!

I am printing up our confirmations and info this morning, and prepping a few things for the car ride (I am going to play a little game with the kids where they can earn trading pins and little coupons for "extras" in the parks!). Fun times!

Our Drama Club did their show yesterday and it went well. I am so glad it's over and I can finally focus on our trip!

I need to go out and get the kids' teachers a little end-of-the-year gift for Friday - can't forget the teachers in the middle of this trip! My kids will miss their last day of school (this year they go until June 20th - thanks to all the snow this winter!). I don't know how long we'll get away with leaving at the end of the school year - my DD may have finals once she gets in middle school!

Tomorrow I am grocery shopping for "travel food" - healthy snacks for the road and a few park-things. I like to give the kids pre-portioned snacks in the car so they can feel free to nibble as they go. We have some Goldfish crackers and sugarless gum for them, but I need something else. Maybe some grapes for the cooler, as well as other crackers, nuts and pretzels.

3 days?!? Not even a full 3 days. Three days until we are sitting in the car and heading SOUTH!

Our packing list is down to one page now, and the suitcases are getting heavy.

Tonight's project is to print out all of our ressies and info, as well as our emergency contacts to give the neighbors.

Of course, in the middle of all of this, I have a job interview on Friday! I am not giving it much attention though. The job sounds like a good match, but I already spoke with the would-be supervisor, and she let me know the salary is not in the range I would like it to be. So, it probably won't work out, but I'll at least take an interview. Maybe I'll be surprised.

If it's supposed to work out, it will.

Anyway, I am going to Disney World! In three days!

Weather looks like Florida in June - low-90s and scattered thunderstorms every day. I've got lots of ponchos packed for those storms!

When we were there 2 years ago, we had one small thunderstorm. I have a feeling we won't be so lucky this year, but c'est la vie in Florida!

Getting ready for my job interview tomorrow. Wrapping end-of-the-year teacher gifts. Cleaning the house.

Added another ADR yesterday - we're going to Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch on Father's Day as a surprise for DH.

The kids can't sleep - they are so excited. I am glad I am not their teachers - tomorrow will be a long day!

My MIL and FIL are coming up tomorrow for dinner. Then my FIL will return home, and MIL will spend the night so we can leave super early on Saturday!

I hope to post once more tomorrow - but after that, we'll be on our way!

It's Friday night! THe kids are now done with school, the bags are packed, the neighbors have our emergency numbers....

We're going to Disney World!

We hope to be leaving around 5 AM tomorrow morning, and plan to drive as far as we can (into Georgia at least). We should arrive in Orlando Saturday afternoon!
