Okay so finally we get to the airport. We check in @ the US Airways counter. We were upgraded to 1st class from Pittsburgh to Orlando. The flight from Scranton to Pittsburgh was an entirely different story. I had assigned seats for this segment of the flight. The airlines will always tell you that seat assignments are never guaranteed but when you check in and get your boarding passes and your seat numbers are on there, you will assume that is where you will be sitting when you board the plane. WRONG! They begin boarding and of course we are the last called. I get on the plane only to discover someone sitting in my seat. I went to the flight attendant and explained there was someone sitting in my seat. Take note this is a 50 passenger jet that has been overbooked and were looking for volunteers to step off. Normally I would have but I was so excited I couldn't stand myself and needed to get to WDW ASAP! Anway, there was an elderly woman sitting in my seat and her friend sitting across from her. The flight attendant explained she was sitting in my seat and the woman started yelling that she was traveling w/ her friend and she needed to sit "directly across" from her. Keep in mind that this is M's 1st flight and she is very very nervous. Panic attacks run in our family and although she is only 15 it could happen. I politely (and I stress this) explained to the woman and the flight attendant that this was M's 1st flight and she "needed" to sit next to me and that I had called US Airways 3 times a week for the last 3 weeks to verify that M had a seat next to me. Nothing. The flight attendant refused to make her move and she to me, and I quote, "I have no control over the seating." NO you don't but you work for the company that does. DO SOMETHING AND DO IT NOW. Needless to say I was making a scene (I didn't mean or want to) and M, DC, and DCW, and me I might add were all completely embarrased by the whole situation. Not a good way to start off the trip. I wouldn't mind switching seats if I was sure M was going to be okay. I don't think that elderly woman wanted my 15 year old sister throwing up on her. I was and am totally disgusted w/ this airline. I feel because the woman was elderly she had preference! AAAAHHHHHHHH! I am still mad and it is 2 weeks later. So to conclude, we rearrange the seats and sat M w/ DCS and DC and DCW sat across and down from them.
I sat 2 rows down.

Can I add that professionally I have had problems w/ seating and such that I was angry w/ this airline prior to my arrival at the airport.

Okay well after all this we got to Orlando and checked in w/ Mears. I have only used Mears once before and don't remeber having any problems. Well, we waited to board the bus and waited and waited and people who were behind us in line had boarded their buses and were probablly already at the parks and we waited and finally after what felt like an eternaty (50 minutes) we boarded our bus. After the US Airways thing and this I was not a happy Disney person. I was quite aggravated.

Okay so we finally make it to the All Star Movies and check in. We got Randy very nice, very slow. Don't need to know all about where everything is. I haved stayed here before (told him that) and I sell Disney for a living (told him that too). We did get connecting rooms in the Toy Story section which made me very happy and made me forget the morning. And, and, our rooms are ready! YEH! Okay, it was almost 3pm anyway but what the hay, I can be happy about something.

Get into our rooms very very tired. But we had plans for the MK today and we are off. It is now 3:00pm. The MK closes at 6pm. I figured we wouldn't get much done in 3 hours. Boy was I wrong. We did BLYSP, SM, MPhilharmagic, Teacups, WTP, the Race cars. I think we got alot done in 3 hours. After that it was off the AsMs for a long nights sleep.

Part II sometime soon.

You sure did get alot done in your short time in the park - thanks for posting!
