I went to see Prince at Madison Sq Garden last week & took the Secaucus train in for the first time. It was great!!!!
Got about 7" of snow this time around ... what a breeze shoveling/snow blowing out today compared to the blizzard two weeks ago, that's for sure... ohhh, but how I would much rather be strolling around Epcot's World Showcase, maybe grabbing some fish & chips in the UK for lunch right about now
... ahhh, to dream
...
we got the same and it seems like nothing because of the storm of a couple of weeks ago. I would love to be stolling around Epcot. Unfortunatly I don't have any plans soon.
NJDiva hope your ankle heals quickly.
Disneyfan63 hope you heal qickly also.
World Showcase is my happy place! What I wouldn't give to be on that hot pavement, sweating my butt off, with a cold margarita in my hand and the mariachi band playing in the background. Then continuing on, drinking and snacking around the world. Oh I can't think of anything better than that!
I would love to eat my way through the World Showcase! I went to the F&W festival for the first time last year and OMG I love it! I may eat my way around the world in May.....hmmmmmm.....![]()
I work in Edison, by Talmadge and New Durham. the center part of the state can be challenging but there are some places that aren't too bad. Love going to Tastee sub though....![]()
I went for the first time last year too!! It was like the best day ever!We had to cancel our dinner reservations because we ate so much from the stands! Lucky for me, Rosh Hashannah falls on a Thursday/Friday this year, that also happens to be the first weekend of F&W! So we are making a long weekend trip for it! (I am a teacher so it is pretty much impossible to go in Sept/Oct.)
Hey my Jersey Dis-ers...
so we are have visions of warmer places where wearing mouse ears is totally the norm, what's on the agenda today, considering that the NE got hit with some of the white stuff, after digging youself out, what are your plans for the day?
I'm actually working from home, I, unfortunately have a fractured ankle and I am on crutches and was told by my co-workers that I dare not show up in the office today. so I packed some stuff last night and here I sit entering training...

My snow day was super lazy...and our plow didn't even get to my street until mid-afternoon, then i got up and spent way too much shoveling! LOL!
Oh we love to go over Jewish holidays too. Cheap hotels, cheap airfare, low crowds. This past Sept we went to see the new Harry Potter area of Universal with friends. Hi NJ-ers! Western Monmouth here. Even though we live 5 min from Great Adventure, we never go! Always go to WDW. Mostly drive, but been flying more recently. Next trip is on the Dream in May, can't wait. I don't really have a favorite Disney thing, like everything! The most fun trip so far is a tie (longest and shortest), staying 11 days at Fort wilderness (Family fun!) and spending Band week with the HS band. Best memories are of both of my kids marching down Main Street in the band and all the band parents (me too) racing from Frontierland to Main Street (the back way) to take pics at two locations. And when the Kids saw the back of Splash Mountain (lost some magic)
.
Don't have a fav for Jersey either, born and raised in Central Jersey. Like how you can get anywhere quickly and the state has so many sides of it, urban, rural, shore, mountains all within easy access. Also love the summer when there are classic car shows every SINGLE day!![]()
