It is unclear if the mom of the two oldest children will try to get custody as of yet. The mother of the youngest child is unknown and has not come forward. Michael Jackson asked (in a will) that his three kids go to his mother who is almost 80 years old and still married to the father who caused MJ so much grief. And it seems like the news is making a big deal that it isnt even known if these kids have Jackson DNA. What might that mean?

What do you think will happen to the kids?
Does anyone know the process for such a hearing? I mean, it seems too complicated to actually be decided on Monday but I have no experience with this kind of thing. :confused3

My 2 cents: I dearly hope the kids do not get split apart.
I dont know that the mother would be good for them. They dont know her and the yongest isnt hers. That sounds like another tragedy in the making.
I hate that MJ's father might get his filthy hands on any of those beautful kids. I think the only good answer for the kdis is for MJ's mom to divorce the dad, get the kids and keep the same teacher and nanny or whatever.

I hope the press and public (or family) DO NOT ruin the lives of these kids that MJ tried to shelter them from.

I have kids the same ages so this just hit me hard.

call me crazy, but i've been hoping janet jackson would step up and care for those kids. she seems to really care about them. i guess we'll see...

That "family" is going to milk every penny out of those kids that they can...I feel bad for those poor children.

The kids don't have to have a drop of Jackson blood to be his; he was their FATHER, period. No one knows the whole story, no one knows exactly why Debbie Rowe walked away-she may have been seeing them without the publics knowledge. If the courts decided it was a good idea to keep them together, she could petition for all three.

MJ's parents will never get divorced, it's against their religion. And don't forget, with all the alledged abuse, she sat by and let him abuse all of the kids. That makes her just as guilty as the abuser.

It's been said repeatedly that Debbie Rowe was the one who made MJ cover the kids whenever they were out, so maybe she had more of an influence on their lives than we know. She did say she couldn't handle the media that was always around, maybe after they divorced, they still saw each other on the d.l. She also said if it wasn't for that, they'd still be married.

I thought I read in our paper today that it has been postponed for a week so that Mrs Jackson and Debbie Rowe can work out a deal.

Debbie Rowe is just looking for more money. As long as Joe stays away from them I think they will be okay.

and who cares if they have Jackson dna? He was their Daddy.

I'd like to add that I DONT CARE ABOUT DNA. I fully think Michael was 100% Daddy. I just said that becasue I've heard it come up a couple of times on news type shows and it seems like it could certainly be a concern.

I want Michaels wishes to be followed (with the absense of Joe in his moms life) and I dont want the kids split apart. I want them to be loved and hugged and cherished and allowed to keep their good memories of their dad.

If there is $ involved, I think it is sick, sick, sick of anyone... and they should not get the children or money...

Yup, DR is gonna get more $$ to drop any custody request.

Although, there are court records showing she didn't want anything to do with them - I think the Jackson family would "win" in a custody battle, especially considering her past actions regarding them.

I think the kids are MJ's biological children - they look very similar to each other, and they appear to be bi-racial... look like MJ's family.

Doesn't it scare anyone else that you think you're doing the right thing by stating in your will whom you want to raise your children if something happens to you only to find out that it can become a 3-ring circus if you die unexpectedly?

Really, what would stop anyone from finding out or inferring how much you're leaving to your kids, presumably in a trust, in assets and insurance money and deciding that this is their home run?

We have my parents listed as our kids' guardians should something happen to us. It makes me sad to think that our wishes would be set aside because someone else puts up a stink in court.

Parents don't select guardians for their kids lightly. They should go to whom the deceased parent(s) wanted them to go. Period. Michael Jackson or anyone else.

It TOTALLY scares me.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that Joe and Katherine have been living separately for years. That makes me feel a little better about her getting custody, but really I wish Janet or one of the other aunts or uncles would get the children.

LB, Joe has stated that the kids should live with HE AND KATHERINE. That they could make them strong Jacksons, and he also said something about Paris and Blanket having talent for the stage. :guilty:
