I didnt get to do either one of those yet! I'm sitting at homne all wrapped up and I may be changing schools here this year before school it out! I have no idea what the future holds.

The past is hsitory, the futures a mystery and right now is a gift thats why they call it the present. :lovestruc

A little laugh to keep you warm on this cold day. My mom sent me this and I thought I would share the giggles

Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken."
She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else in the class laughed.
My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA.
He said they love animals very much.
I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again.
The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was.
I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children.
So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.
She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am.
Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most.

I told her, "Colonel Sanders."
Guess where I am now...

That teacher must not be addicted to the Cornel's secret mix of herbs and spices that we are.

I heard this line, well something very close in the movie 21. I thought it was funny because the whole movie was about how cards have a history and with that you could predict the future.

If those cookies are Thin Mints, then sign me up :)

It is pouring rain here too. Cats and dogs... and their toys, and mice... a few zombies.... hate it when that happens....

I like your story... it is humorous. I like fried chicken too. And the Colonel as well.
I don't see anything wrong with your replies either. Some people are just a tad bit too p.c.

GOOD FRIDAY EVENING, MISFITS!!! :yay:

I spoke with Sara a bit ago. It's been raining variable amounts this afternoon/evening. She said it seemed fairly busy still, as if everyone was prepared for rain. Lots of ponchos and rain coats being worn. She was at ElecTRONica and there were lots of people there.

I bet, you know, just guessing that SD could use some rain.

Evening to you too!

Oh thanks, skiingfast! Yes, it was awesome until 4pm. BUT this was IN the forecast so everyone has their ponchos. I heart ElecTRONica!

Well, you are right, we could use JUST ONE EVENING of rain … :lmao: I still have those awful memories from Dec when it rained almost 2 weeks straight and not just showers, POURING HEAVY INTENSE rain. :headache:

We have had a run of lovely weather so we were due for a little interruption of that, I guess.

skiingfast, I am going to DL in a few weeks, will TRON still be there? I thought that once it was in theaters they may have stopped it at DL. We did see it (DL's TRON) in October but I want to go again. :yay:

:rotfl2: Thanks for sharing that, ColtonsMom! :rotfl2:

Has anyone been to Electronica? How did you like it? I will also ask Sara when she comes back. I love electronica music, techno etc, and love to dance to it as well.

I remember seeing the resevoir that is next to Escondido full around 1990 and then in 2000 it looks pointless as it barely retained any water in comparison and I don't think the river was making it to the ocean it look so dried up.

Plus showers at night is probably a blessing because my most rediculous commutes ever were from downtown in the rain to north county. I mean the commute was never good but just a little sprinkle and I could of jogged the 30 miles faster.

Yeah you will be good to go on ElecTRONica. I posted it on the ElecTRONica thread but earlier this week Disney announced it will be running through Labor Day.

That is where I live!!! :cool1:

AWESOME on TRON … Oh, there is a thread on Tron … I better check it out! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the link!

Yes, DH & I really enjoyed it when we were there in October. :thumbsup2

I was glad to hear it's sticking around. I went in the fall between Glowfest and ElecTRONica. This way I'll know I get to see one, and I'd prefer to see the latter.

SOO being the teenager around here, a mature one at that. I dont care for electronica. Okay so the music is cool and its cool but in disneyland who wants to spend hours there when you only have a few days at the parks? The music was cool, but people were acting like idiots in there dancing. Ive been there twice. I just dont exactly care for it.
