I feel the exact opposite. I just learned of a very unethical business practice of Target. I won't be going back there.
Was it spicy? Dried I assume, not ground?
Other than being way overpriced. What are they doing? I don't care for them either.
They don't respect propietary ideas. They employ a strategy to steal from other companies. I find it despicable and will boycott them for this.
I have a relative who speaks to buyers of major retailers and told me about their evil practice.
Bacically what I got out of that was I'm just now getting better after two weeks, so I'm just warning you that Your both pretty much screwed for two weeks until you get over it.LOL!
no, it was ground. The deer was shot about 3 weeks ago. It wasn't overly spicey, just right. We have some local meat processers here that do a really nice job. we get some made into burger, some breakfast sausage, links, hot dogs. I also enjoy the fish we get in the summer. Salmon and halibut. I smoke the salmon mostly, very tasty. Do you having fishing around you?
I feel there is so much corruption in the world now that most big businesses are guilty of it on some level. And our government being among the worst offenders.
I am about 12 days into this same cold/flu/congestion/runny nose thing too...Please let it only have 2 more days to go I have to get on a plane to DL in 3.
I would like to think I am good at both. If I had a larger kitchen I would have better meals. it is easier to bake because there are so many steps and you can clean along the way. Cooking is different.
So did you have to cook it then?
We have fishing but only kind of like AK. I'm too far inland and we don't have salmon runs. While it's shown that the dams have stopped the runs, historically they may never have spawned this far upriver. But we have great trout fishing, thow I haven't got a license in a while.
Cooking is different..I am definitely one of the cooks..but I do have a baking daughter LOL
Baking is too regimented for me, measurements have to be perfect timing is everything variations have to be calculated.
I am a take some of this from the fridge, a bit of that out of the pantry, a smidgen of that from the spice cupboard and theres dinner...This is how myself and my DD22 Kari cook we like to be creative and see how it comes out. Plus measuring cups/spoons are just more dishes.
My DD23 Amy can cook/bake anything as long as she has directions and it always comes out perfectly but she is jealous of the fact that we can "see" what would happen if we threw this & that together and have it come out well. But her true love is baking not cooking.
Just a general question for parents. Do you buy you kids' teachers gifts? How much is appropiate to spend and what do you give?
5 of the moms from my sons class got together and bought plants for our kids teacher we spent $30 on 3 plants and the kids painted the pots together so we spent $6 each.
GOOOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I think it's going to be a LOVELY DAY! Wakey Wakey!
Yep I am heading to bed..Just had to catch up first it was busy in here while I was away from the laptop. This thread will reach 250 pages in no time LOL
