Just a general question for parents. Do you buy you kids' teachers gifts? How much is appropiate to spend and what do you give?

If it is a exceptional teacher i do a present. There have been teachers I have given nothing to as well. If your son seems to really like his teacher, then i would get a gift. A nice Christmas ornament along with a nice card from your son would be good. Is she a coffee or tea drinker? Maybe a nice mug with flowers in it, or a gift card for coffee. It is not a requirement, only if you or your son feel it something you want to do. I would say $10-$15 would be more than generous.

You need seeds for a tree to grow from. Try looking in your change jar the brownish red things in there are perfect to start with.

I'm back! We went on a christmas train ride, it was WONDERFUL! Then went and looked at christmas lights.

Skiing Fast....I have always given my teachers gifts in elementary school, not in Jr high or High School. We have always given my younger sisters teachers gifts.

A christmas train is a train and we got hot cocoa and cider with cookies santa was on there and elves. They read a story and sang songs. It was nice, sort of like the polar express.

I feel the exact opposite. I just learned of a very unethical business practice of Target. I won't be going back there.
