The photos are from last year's trip to WDW - we had such an amazing time that we needed to have some more Disney goodness to focus on when we got back down to earth!

So Disneyland Paris is where we are heading! We were last there 6 years ago (I can't believe it's that long!) when we had a DLP Familymoon together!

We've been to WDW twice inbetween but DLP always holds a special place in our hearts.

Things will be so different from last time - the girls are much older - Kate will be Simon's rollercoaster buddy this time.

Coming up - Where to eat??

Okay - here's the plan!

Sunday 25th October

We get up VERY early to travel with Tony the Taxi man to Manchester Airport. I expect we'll pay an outrageous amount for a bacon butty at the airport for breakfast!

Hopefully an aeroplane snack will see us through till later!

We'll arrive in Paris around lunchtime and hopefully be able to check in to Sequoia Lodge around 2pm (if the room is ready!)

I've heard that Casey Junior is only open on certain days and I love that ride (it was closed the whole time we were there in 2003) so we might have to have a mercy dash to ride it on Sunday before it closes! Needs must!

The plan is then to have a late lunch/early dinner at Annette's Diner.

Then to spend the evening in the Disneyland Park.

Monday 26th October

As Simon is now a shareholder we thought we might try out Salon Mickey for some pastry goodness in the morning!

We hope to spend some more time in the Disneyland Park today including lunch at the Silver Spur Steakhouse.

The afternoon may include a pootle around Disney village with some snacks and sandwiches to tide us over.

Tuesday 27th October

We'll hopefully get an early breakfast at Sequoia Lodge and then head to the Disney Studios.

We plan to have a fast food lunch somewhere in the studios - Backlot express?

Later that evening we are booked into Buffalo Bill's Wild West show - a new experience for myself and the girls!

Wednesday 28th October

A day of wandering between the parks with a fast food lunch (maybe Toad Hall) to tide us over.

For the evening meal we decided we would try the Beaver Creek Tavern at Sequoia Lodge.

Thursday 29th October

Departure day:sad2:

Another Salon Mickey breakfast and a mosey into Disneyland Park for the last time.

A fortifying lunch at Cafe Mickey before we start to wend our weary way home!

Of course we haven't booked any meals yet so this could all change!

Lots of fun things have been planned:goodvibes

Excellent planning - great that you plan on going to Annette's, we loved it there last week. Hopefully for you, the Casey jr ride will be open also - it was open on our trip (except Monday ), so fingers crossed! Tip: try to sit on the last wagon, you can get great views and pics from there! Have a wonderful trip :thumbsup2

Thanks Suzanne! It's been many years since I went on Casey Junior - I'm quite desperate to go on it again - the girls were quite tiny then!

Simon and Kate are the roller coaster fiends - they'll love Space Mountain, Rock n Roller Coaster, BTMR, and Tower of Terror!

Sarah and myself are milder thrill seekers - we love rides like Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear, POTC and all the traditional stuff like Dumbo and Snow White!

Hey Y'all!

I need some advice from you.

Everytime we go to Disney we all like to do something that challenges us a wee bit - something that pushes us a bit out of our comfort zone.

For example - I don't like rollercoasters or anything with a big drop. Last year at WDW I went on BTMR for the first time (after I had been promised there were no big drops in it!) and I enjoyed it - although I wouldn't want to go on anything fiercer.

So at DLP this time I'm thinking about going on ToT. Yes, I know I said I don't like big drops but I'm wondering if I could cope with it - I really want to see all the spooky theming and experience the ride.

So - what do you think? Am I crazy? Or will I love it?

You've seen pictures of how we look recently (ish) - looked at how we looked back in 2003 on our last visit to Disneyland Paris!

Notice the Hallowe'en theming - which we are looking forward to seeing again!

Yay!

We've booked a couple of meals for our trip!

We've booked the Silver Spur for our first day dinner.

We also wanted to book the Blue Lagoon on the Wednesday - for dinner - but we were told the latest reservation was 3-15pm! :confused3 We booked it but we might change it when we get there as we wanted to eat later.

We also booked lunch at Cafe Mickey for our last day.

Forgot that we couldn't book Annettes in advance - just have to queue up!

Very excited again!

Less than 60 days now!

I agree with ASmallWorld that ToT is great - to be real honest, I considered it a little "scarier" than BTM.
I went on ToT, found it quite scary, and the next day, we decided to go on it again. And as we were queuing, I was a little nervous - because NOW I knew what to expect... but it was excellent, better than the 1st time. Because you (roughly!) know what to expect, you can enjoy it more a second time (was my experience anyway).
SO: GO FOR IT, but go twice!!! (at least). Oh, and the themeing is indeed great, and so are the CMs, very spooky and suspicious, great fun!

Thanks guys! I will probably go for it - I like to try new things but don't like to stray too far from my comfort zone!:rotfl:

Getting so excited - only have half a term to survive before the trip!:goodvibes
