The Internet and the Parks

Does anyone know if there's any site on stage of the parks that you can actually go online to look up a few things? There wasn't when I was there in 2001. But times change pretty quickly in WDW

The last couple of times I've checked, the one at the AK by Dinosaur has been busted up pretty bad. I wouldn't count on it working.

Two winters ago they had half a dozen (maybe more) at Epcot, and at least one at all the other parks. They also had them in the public phone areas/lobby areas of the resorts. I believe they've all been removed at this point.

What I noticed when they were still there is how many kids came along and banged on the keyboards. It wasn't just a kid now and then, it was almost every child who passed by. I'm sure they weren't meant to take that kind of abuse. It was pretty bad.

I've wondered if they could have made a removable keyboard cover, something that would slide away once you inserted your credit card to buy some internet time. Hm.........

I know last March at Magic Kingdom they had some around usually by pay phones. My boyfriend and I used one at MK right by the ice cream shop to check our checking account. It was kinda hard to use, since there is no mouse, whenever we would touch the screen to click on something, it would click on something else, and we'd have to keep adding money for more minutes. But it's good to have that to be able to check on things like that. Also, I read somewhere that DisneyQuest has some computer to surf on too.
