I picked my restaurants and have some plan of action! I even have double back up plans if I can't get the ADR's that I want.

Considering this has been the object of my obsession for the past two weeks, I am just happy to finally have picked my dining choices.

This is my first trip to Disney, hopefully not every trip here after isn't as crazy when it comes to where I want to eat - LOL

Breakfasts:
CRT (only OOP. If I can't get that, then I will try for Akershus breakfast)
Crystal Palace
Tusker House

Dinners:
Chef Mickey
Ohana
Coral Reef
Mama Melrose

My back-ups would be either 1900 Park Fare, 50's Prime Time, or Garden Grill.

Just wanted to share in my excitment!

Try to schedule your Ohana to coincide with Wishes going off.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the food at CM for dinner, maybe switch it to a breakfast??? Just a thought.

Is your Mama Melrose for the Fanstasmic Package?

My plan was def for Ohana to coincide with Wishes. To be honest, of all my ADR's that and Crystal Palace are the ones I'm worried about. I would love for Ohana to be around 730/8PM (so we can see Wishes) and Crystal Palace for an 8AM ressies to be in the park before it officially opens. Those are my two main concerns, so I really hope we get these at some point in our trip.

I have been going back and forth for the longest time about CM. We really needed a dinner choice, so that is where CM came into it. I was going to do 1900 Park Fare BUT the kids ruled on CM. I believe we are really going there for the characters and not the food - oh well...I can't win them all. If that one falls through though, then its 1900 Park Fare.

Mama Melrose is Fantasmic Package - yes. I know those are hard to come by, so I'm not that worried about it. If I get it - great! If not, then I will honestly eat somewhere else where there are characters and decide then if we will choose to wait in the long line for Fantasmic or just go spend the evening at another park (maybe one with EMH). I am going with a 13 month old, so we will see how she is. If its time for a nap, then maybe the waiting in line would be a nice down time for her????? :confused3

Great!

Hope you get all your choices. The Characters are great at CM (Goofy is such a klutz), I just wasn't wowed with the Food at Dinner. We had just gone to Boma the night before, so CM was kinda a let down after that.

Ohana with Wishes is Magical..... try to book that.

CP I have never been too.....but it gets a lot of rave reviews here.

Look into the Pirate Cruises for the two older kids..... they are the perfect age for them. It's OOP cost but well worth it, IMO.

That's great! I know it's hard to choose where to eat! You only have so many days and tons of places to choose from!:)

Great Suggestion Pavil on the pirate cruise! :thumbsup2
My older two kids would LOVE it. I checked it out on allears.net, it's not that expensive and it would be something that they would just have a riot with. I'm going to try and book this for them!

Thanks again!

Have a great Trip!

:cool1::cool1:

We did the Pirate cruise at the GF. That way you can have a nice brunch while they go on the cruise. There are multiple Pirate cruises at different resorts, I think they are all the same so pick one based on the restaurants at the Resort.

Sorry if the kiddos don't want 1900 PF, but I must say, I applaud you for using your kids in the planning process...

All our fancy meals (meaning TS that in the past we've only done once or twice per trip) are up to me basically! Dh trusts my judgment, and my boys are still young enough and have so little experience with Disney restaurants, that I get to do it all! Now, of course I'm thinking of my family while I make ressies, but I am trying to do a good variety of American & non-American, with & without characters, buffets & non-buffets, etc... hopefully that means that when I start asking for the kiddos' input in the future, they won't give me just CM! (Though I am still excited about trying that for the first time this year!)

Anyhoo... good for you letting the kids have a voice!
