The Imagineering Field Guide to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World....I want this book...saw it advertised in the LAST issue of Disney Magazine and it looks awesome. It says for sale wherever books are sold and when I look online at amazon it says it should have been released on June 1,2005 but, it isn't...all sites say it hasn't been released. I'm just wondering if anyone else is waiting for this book and if by chance anyone knows whats going on with the delayed release...thanks for the help Disers.

I pre-ordered it from amazon over the weekend. When I checked out, it said the book should ship on August 4th. Hopefully I'll forget about it and get a little surprise in the mail in two months!

My 10 year old son saw this ad and has called the bookstore everyday since! We are headed to MK in two days and he is all bummed out now that he can't go with this book! I wish they wouldn't advertise in the disney magazine until it is available. Please post if you manage to get one before summer is over. (In FL we go back to school August 3rd)

AUGUST????!! Dang! We're going to WDW NEXT WEEK (yippee!); I ordered it from Barnes & Noble.com hoping to have it before we left; got an e-mail from them saying their supplier was "delayed" getting the book to them. I checked on their website and the availability was listed as "1-2 weeks." Guess I'll give up hoping that we'll have it before we leave......

It was originally supposed to publish in March, and was later pushed back to June. The August date others have posted doesn't surprise me given its track record.

Auuuggghhh~I was really hoping to get that with in the next few days...oh well, I'm also going to just go ahead and preorder it from Amazon. It will be nice to receive it, a lil' gift just for me.

Well now I am disappointed. I, too, have been checking amazon and now to have to wait to August. I was hoping to have the book and read it by the end of the month for our trip. What a bummer. I guess I'll have to wait like everyone else.

Drat. I preordered it from Amazon along with some other books. To get the free shipping, they're all supposed to come in one box, which I thought would arrive this week. I'm so bummed that I have to wait two more months than originally planned.

I find that interesting that it is now August because on Amazon's website it still says June 1st, 2005 although they also told me I should have received it by June 7, which is today. Yeah well at least they were nice and shiped each of my items in a separate box and they still gave me free shipping. I think they did that because my stuff was all coming from different warehouse locations though. I hope it gets here before I leave in September though. If not I might just cancel it , although I wonder if they will than charge me shipping for the items I already received.
