helllloooooo!!! where ya at? we are under 9 weeks here...we need details...knock knock, anybody home?

Holy cow...did someone say 9 weeks...

well here is the dealio...

I was in the hospital for 10 days for an unexpected vaycay - just got out last Thursady - had a stint put in my kidney - taken out due to rejection and then had an eppidural put in for 3 days to give my body a rest from the pain and the spasms...

So nothing like a time crunch and missing work to freak a person right out...

Hence some changes:

#1 We will be driving unless an airplane company gives tickets away...$800 cheaper to drive 24 hoursa nd with 4 drivers...it won't be that bad (who am I kidding...I think it will stink...but a girl has gotta cut corners when possible..)

#2 Treyner is having his ex - girlfriend (Kayla) come with us...she is 19...and I have known her since they liked each other from the time she was in 7th and he in 6th grade...they lasted till he was in 9th so she is like an old cat at our place....it will make numbers even for rides and isnce we are driving - it is a pretty cheap trip for her...

#3 We are not doing a meal plan - I have lost almost 20 pounds and my stomach is not that hungry lately...plus we can eat out about 7 times...and then use the full kitchen I am paying for at OKW to save some $$ again...

#4 I am now letting the kids think we are leaving in January...since we are driving...and plan on getting them at school at Noon on the 4th of December...and telling them that they have 1 hour to pack...we are leaving in an hour...(They will think they have dentist appointments) so a suprise is still in the works....the only flaw...

Kayla has a huge mouth...and I had to let her know so she could get off of work...

but I have told her that her punishment will be playing..."IT's a Small World" the whole ride if she blows this.

So that is a fly by update...been super busy getting back into life...

BTW:

Fort Lewis College wants Treyner!!! He is going to another school visit to firm up stuff at the end of the month... Such a relief to know this but still...so far away...

Please say a prayer to the health God's...I need to start feeling better!

Oh my! Glad to hear you are doing better. I can't imagine driving 24 hours, but you have to do what you have to do. And you'll be driving to Disney! The kids are going to freak when they find out you're going a month earlier!

Oh, I hope you're feeling better soon! I stumbled across your thread the other day and just finished reading allllll the way through it! In hopes that it will lighten your mood, I will let you know that DBF and I went to Typhoon the other day. I live down here in Orlando, so I've been there a number of times.DBF had never been to a Disney water park, only wet and wild. (The poor misguided anti-Disney man that he is.) Anyway, I convinced him that he would really like the crush n'gusher, but I was not a fan and he could go by himself in a double tube. I have indeed been on a few times due to peer pressure, and have nearly required butt surgery as well. We walked over, and I told him to have a good time and that I would wait for him at the bottom. He apparently has selective hearing, and gave me a funny look and said he wasn't going on without me. After 5 minutes of arguing, he said that he was too AFRAID to go on without me. Now, who can say no to a baby-blue eyed 28 year old guy who's admitting that he's afraid? I buckled, and up we went. On the way to the top, I couldn't remember which seat got the brunt of the contact, so I claimed the back of the tube. Right before we got on, I switched and said I wanted the front because I remembered my head getting some wall contact. He, again, gave me a funny look and said whatever I wanted was fine. Well, we put the tube down and weren't very graceful.. I stepped infront of it and fell back onto the tube, at the same time he was stepping into the back, and he kneed me right in the back of the head. Hard. So, We both get situated, and the lifeguard hits the button and down we go, concussed and all.

Well, it wasn't as bad as I had remembered it..

..it was worse.

I'll be putting in a call to the butt surgeon tomorrow for transplant options.

Hi...it is good news for Treyner and anyone who is a part of your life for 3 years will always be a part of your life...the most important part is that they are still very close..talk about current dating situations etc...more than I might even with an ex...he is mature sometimes in ways that amaze me...

Tonight is our last home football game as Treyner's senior year...I promise to try and not cry...yeah right...

I can hide it with the fact the team blows chunks and people will just think I am sad they are so bad....

I need to go through clothes tom...(no school for kiddos) and make sure they have enough to get them through the trip...shorts and such...Baylor has grown a ton since last summer started...just had to get him new skates for hockey...maybe can hit an apple orchard tom...and get some pics to update...and then...

After the 1st of Nov....Treyner will have the house lit like a Las Vegas brothel...and we will post pics of his Christmas light set up. I told him though that he has to make sure that he figures out a way for no more mice to get in the house...even if that means plugging the lights into the neighbors outlets...I mean why should they care....

I am also scared for me...I should drop another 20-30 # before we go...and I know in my store in my room...I should have capris that fit in my too small box...but are they in style still? Do they remind anyone of Marcia Brady? I better have Carsyn make sure they are age/time appropriate.

As of now the kids think we leave on Jan still...Baylor will just be starting a new Tri at school...so can't talk to his teachers...and as far as the other 2 go...need to wait probably until mid Nov. Hopefully they will not leak the surprise.

I keep trying to think of fun ways to get the most shock value out of them...

#1 Send them each a ballon at school telling them to come outside and have Mickey on the balloon

#2 Have each hour teacher have a Mickey Item /trip item to give to them before I pick them up...like a luggage tag...mickey dollars etc...and see how long it takes them to guess...

#3 Text them at school (yes they have phones on...I know chalk up another reason I am going to He!!) and let them know with one word texts until it spells out "We are leaving today"

So let me know some of your ideas..and any for knocking them out in the car for 24 hours...I think they are old enough to not fall for the cold medicine trick some mother I saw on tv gave kids for airplane rides so they did not bug the heck out of other passengers...not agreeing with that one but even if I did...it would not work...

Anyway - off to the game...I honestly will try posting daily as we count down the days...and hopefully my @ss size...

I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS!

I have a Tupperware party tonight that may be pretty big with loads of datings...so...if it goes well..there still may be a prayer I can fly to the great Orange State! That is the blessing and curse of the biz...when you work your biz..$$$ comes in fast...but being self employed means no work...no pay...so these bouts of illness have just killed me...

Plus the kids Dad just got layed off...and depending how that plays out...obviously he will need to pay less in child support...which is only fair...I want him to have a life with my kids...not ruin his life by milking him dry...so when he hurts financially...I feel it is the right thing to do to be understanding...and hope he does the same in the reverse...

Serious....any other great ideas on how to suprise the kids???

Thanks and yes...that is the crux of driving vs flying...I do have a biz mtg at corporate I need to attend while there...so it will be a write off for me...I can either write off my flight..or the entire car trip including rental of a mini van...so for tax purposes...driving is a better route...but...24 hours one way is a killer...and I worry if I get sick what shall I do..I could fly back...but they would all be down there...although ditching a rental would not be the end of the world..we would have a one way drop off fee...and then they could fly back...ugh...I gave myself till NOV 12th to decide...

Party was awesome...$1000 in sales and 3 datings...so very successfull...

It is not easy...he drives me nuts...but I will always tell him if he is doing something that may hurt himself because he does not think through a lot...him hurting himself financially will only hurt my kids...I choose him...they did not...and he loves them...spends tons of time with them...and they will always be a part of him...

As for the Fire Dept...I just found out that it is gonna cost me to get my son's transcripts sent to any colleges...so I doubt the word free comes into any person's mouth in our community...maybe down south there is the spiriot of generosity...up here lately seems to have bcome the me me me state....

Yup...buh bye driving...just got airline tickets for cheap...so we are now going from
Dec 4th - late flight - till the 15th - early morning -

so TREYNER will be there for his B-day....


Soooooo...now I need to revamp some ADR's and find a B-day day and probably rethink the dates we are visiting the parks....!!!
