If I put someone on my ignore list, will that poster still be able to PM me?

Yes, but you won't know it. It will be blocked from being delivered.

But I think if you ever take them off ignore, you'll get all the PMs you never got before.

I was thinking last night that if you put someone on your ignore list you should get the satisfaction of them knowing they are on your list. I think it would be great if the person being ignored got a message that made the same sound as a phone or door being slammed. That's just me being spiteful.

I think some people make it pretty obvious when they are ignoring you.

So why not tell them? If someone has ticked me off enough to use that feature, they will know why.

Sometimes I want to ignore them not because they have ticked my off but because they have irritated or annoyed me. If someone has made me mad I'll let them know.

I have someone on ignore though who I like I just don't like the picture in her siggie and my kids have commented on it. I have her on ignore so I can open her posts if my little people are not sitting right close by. I wouldn't want to have her think I was being mean about it--it's just a personal choice. Now, for people who bug me, I just skip over their posts. Having them on ignore would make me too darn curious.

In the edit option section of your User CP, you can choose to see no one's siggie...
