Yes, but try not to enter the room if possible. You can always look up the room on Touring plans to get any info you need.
The new room must be in the same booking category. If staying in rented points, is it still possible to ask for a room change if the room assigned isn’t what I want?

I did enter the room because I thought it would be fine. However, upon entering, we found that it still had a sofabed and not a Murphy Bed. And it was so far from the lobby. My mom is elderly. She gets around well, but that extra walking for her was not going to be fun. A kind CM was able to switch us no problem. We are much closer to the lobby and we have a fully renovated room. The new room must be in the same booking category.
Interesting when I called MS to add a request that I get a room with a murphy bed she wouldn't add it saying "they all have murphy beds" I know for next time to force them to add itI did enter the room because I thought it would be fine. I just thought it was weird because I thought all the rooms had the Murphy beds now.

FYI: the room we were originally going to em was 1131. It definitely had a sofa bed and an older coffee table. The rest of the furniture was changed, so I didn’t notice at first and then I noticed the Murphy bed wasn’t there. But the CM was very nice and I was lucky that other Studios were available.
especially if when you call MS they are adamant that all rooms have murphy's. I am glad I got one, had I walked in to no murphy Id be mad.Concerning that not all sofa beds have been replaced.
That thread explains why but honestly I dont find that reassuring. Its the same concept as CCV having a shower and tub booking class for their studios as the needs are very different.
The difference between a murphy bed and sofa are fairly significant. Luckily if we ever got it the kids would be on it and they would likely not notice it like an adult.
The sofa beds are a more comfortable couch than the Murphy, IMO.
Yes very much so. But once ours gets pulled down it says down the whole stay. The sofa beds are a more comfortable couch than the Murphy, IMO.
I don’t think a lot of people like the idea of a commercial renter walking a boardwalk view studio for a renter.I need help from my friends!!
We have 1 week scheduled for Boardwalk Villa in Feb 2026. We got a boardwalk view deluxe studio. We have rented points from the seller before, and he is very accommodating. however, we might have to switch our reservation from Feb 2026 to early June 2026.
My questions
1. how is the weather first/second week of June? I know it will be hot (80-90s), but what about the rain? is it as bad as July/Aug/September? Is it a deal breaker? I have been to WDW in August and it was crazy hot/humid LOL
2. how crowded is it? I was checking thrill data and crowd calendar, and it seems first/second week of June is not bad. Is it much more crowded than Feb? What about the lightning lanes sell out dates? I would stay for a week and get a 7 day pass.
3. The DVC point chart for the week we would go in June is exactly the same as the week we originally book for Feb 2026. How hard would be to get a similar room (boardwalk view deluxe studio) for second week of June 2026? Is it crazy busy ? My seller would be fine walking the reservation if needed (this is how we got the boardwalk view this time and the previous time).
sorry, I meant moving the reservation (changing the date).I don’t think a lot of people like the idea of a commercial renter walking a boardwalk view studio for a renter.
Well, it couldn’t be booked until July (11m window) and given that the BW Studio is almost always walked it would mean the owner would need to trying to muscle out someone else who is walking or get lucky and march behind the walkers.sorry, I meant moving the reservation (changing the date).
