The "I got a Resort Christmas Card" Thread - 2007

I did a quick search and didn't come up with any results for 2007 so let me start it off. We got a Christmas Card from AKL today. It's the one with the Christmas tree in the lobby which sounds like the same from previous years.

I kinda feel unfaithful now cause we're checking into Wilderness Lodge next Saturday.

Are these only sent to guests with an upcoming stay during the holiday season?

I don't believe so. Otherwise, we'd be getting one from WL vice AKL. We have stayed concierge at AKL three times but in other threads, I've seen people get them after only one stay and not in concierge.

We've stayed concierge in several resorts, including during the month of December, but we've never received a Christmas card from the resort. I didn't even realize they did that!

What an interesting thread!

We got 2 Christmas cards from AKL this year. One addressed to DH and the other addressed to me.

Of course we do our annual 'cookie delivery' every December for the staff members who were so sweet and accommodating to us when we could 'afford' to stay there. We just picked up the cookies on the weekend.

Every year we stay in January on-site but book between September and December (through Disney) but never have received a card. You must have a little extra pixie dust!

I received a Christmas card from the AKL a few days ago. The last time we stayed there was Dec. 2005. We've stayed at the AKL four times and this is the second card I've received. I've never got a card from any other resort.

Maybe it's an AKL thing? We've stayed at POR five times in the past five years and we've never gotten a card. I have never heard of that - how neat!
