The 'I Didn't Get Anything for Valentine's Day, Therefore it Sucks' Thread

Ugh, when I woke up this morning a wave of depression came over me, so I knew it must be Valentine's day.

It is so depressing to see everyone walking around with roses and chocolates, and not get anything yourself.

Actually, I was meant to be meeting this guy before college, but the story to go with that is so embarassing that I'll wait until I get some of my self esteem back before I tell it.

Am I the only one who thinks oday is the most depressing day of the year?

I totally agree!! Valentine's Day should be banned!!! Everyone in school is getting flowers and candy and I'm just like "Who cares!?!?" lol...

I have my 'Valentine's day is just a commercial festival set up by the card companies' speech known off by heart now.

They're showing one of my favourite Simpsons episodes at the moment, 'I choo choo choose you'. Hehe

i'm boycotting valentine's day....my love life sucks..and i don't wanna see people who's loce life is great celebrating..unfortunately..one of those people is my best friend..and he was an @$$ to me today...

at the moment i am in a very bad mood because of it...for the past week people have been bringing up my ex thinking it's funny...when in reality it is making me retreat further into my corner...

Valentine's Day is so depressing! I mean, I'm sure it would be super if I actually had a boyfriend, but I don't, so I don't like it. In the halls almost everyone has balloons, giant teddy bears, flowers, etc. I was hoping the guy that likes me would send me a carnation just so I could walk around w/ it and feel special, but he didn't. I think valentine's day should be abolished.

i think valentines day is an awesome holiday - i mean i can totaly relate how you guys are feeling - i don't have a b/f or anything - but my friends are all so great to me - they all bought me roses and stuff - and its fun to eat all the chocalte - ya know? - but im sorry you guys are so upset so im gunna give u all a rose!!

Oh I've always hated Valentine's Day, I've always thought it was the worst holiday ever created. I hate seeing all these girls in school with flowers, teddy bears, candy, jewelry, etc. and seeing them bragging about what their boyfriends got for them, it just makes me feel so much worse about myself. Me and my sister decided that they should make a holiday for ugly losers, and then we'd be able to have a holiday for ourselves.

As my friend says happy S.A.D. !! (Single Awareness Day) Today was so weird. I found out that the guy I've had a crush on since freshmen year (I'm now only 14 weeks from graduation) is gay! I have no problem with homosexuals of course but I feel sooooo dumb for not realizing! UGH!

I got chocolate from my best friend's boyfriend. So I DID get something, and it was sweet and thoughtful of him to do so, knowing I hate today, but today seriously is still one of the most depressing days of the year.

I HATE going anywhere on this day. All I see are flowers, candy, stuffed animals, and red and pink everywhere. It sucks because I have had boyfriends before, but the last time I had one on Valentine's Day was in the 3rd grade.

Oh well, at least this one is almost over.

wel its decent....its better for a boyfriend..yesterday was horrible at school...ive never seen so many ballons and flowers

but my friend julia did get a carnation,and rachael gave me candy and so did Alicia so i got stuff..my grandma gave me a driving stimlator thing and my mom said my present will be here in 22 days(going to wdw!)

but what made me mad was my friend Alicia(different from above)her bf goes to a different school and all day she was complaing to me and all my other single friends how 2day was gonan suck..but she was going to see her bf that night! so finally my friend told to stop complaining...at least she has a bf and she got all mad
