The I can't believe it's Thursday already riddle

1. Thanks.

2. Wow... crazy kids! :sad2:

3. Okay, on an average trip to WDW, what would you say is a good amount of money to spend solely on pins? I ask because I'm not even a pin collector and I spent A LOT on pins over the past week.

That is an excellent question!

I would say that we spend ENTIRELY too much on pins. I am not a "collector" of anything. Ever. My husband on the other hand....

well he started buying pins as souvies (one for your favorite ride, one for each resort we stayed at) a long time ago (we don't even go to WDW that much) and it has kind of mushroomed....

and so has our family:rolleyes: so even a mild to moderate pin habit is quite pricey.

My only consolation is at least it prevents us from buying more bulky and less lasting souvies.....

Just don't ever start calculating how much you spend on X as a percentage of your total yearly income:eek: I did that once and then declared we were never buying another greeting card ever again.

:rotfl: I'll keep that in mind.

But that still doesn't entirely answer the question of how much is about typical to spend on pins during a WDW vacation? Between my fiance and I, we bought 16 pins last week and you don't even want to know how much they all came up to.

Probably $143.20 plus tax.

I buy them in bulk on ebay for about $2 -$3 a pin and then my DD trades for what she wants.

That sounds like a good idea. $2-$3 for pins that seem to sell for around $10 a piece is great.

Of course, with me not being a pin collector, I have to truly, truly like a pin in order to want to get it. It just so happens I saw a lot of pins I truly, truly liked (and there were 2 more that I liked that I didn't even get).

now that is a good idea!

i didn't even bother looking at the pins when we went to WDW b/c I didn't want to start an obsession:rotfl:

Well some of us actually have to do work occasionally when we are at work;)

all day? :faint:

Good thing my normal schedule includes copious amounts of time to lay on the couch watching reruns and eating bon-bons. ;)

Twinkies are considered bon-bons now? :confused3

And it looks like this riddle thread is going to need a major time extension if it is to reach a hooty:rolleyes:
