Finished watching MKR. Sitting here with a bad headache and thinking about getting into bed early. Except IronMan 3 is on and I need to set the box to record the Oscars.

I've been doing my standard lurking on the Dis. Been staying away from the wildlife and sock puppets. Plenty of other threads to increase my post count.

I think I've had the equivalent of 3 litres of water today.

DH convinced me to do a Quit Sugar diet. We're into week 5 (or is that starting week 6??) of no sugar. I don't miss it much; but I miss my night time munchies.

Someone even found me a 'cookie' recipe with apple sauce (I made my own), banana, oats, sultanas, vanilla and cinnamon to bake as a snack. It's okay; and DH likes it. So I'm going to have to trot it out from time to time.

I had a (brown) sugar in my coffee this morning, with a slice of cafe style raisin toast (massive) and I had a malteser bunny this afternoon, i'm trying to detox a bit.
My osteo told me to lay off diet drinks so i'm off those, and I thought I might as well cut my sugar down as much as I can.
I ma used to sitting in front of the tv with an icecream.
I went to Costco today and resisted the urge of a 20 pack of Cadbury icecreams, thats a win! :rolleyes1
 
i may have a few fredo bickies in the cupboard left over from the weekend....:cheer2:

The Quit Sugar is positively medieval. I've been checking the fine print on every label. I've worked out that it doesn't matter whether I go get a new prescription for my eyes or not.....the font size of the fine print is too tiny for anyone to read.


I need to find stuff that has less than 4% sugar content. :faint:

I didn't know stuff with less than 4% sugar existed LOL
 


Actually, it hasn't been that bad. I guess I wasn't really eating that much added sugar in my diet beforehand anyway. The hardest bit has been checking the labels and getting different brands with less sugar in it.
