Today was report card day. Actually, Friday was. But since the boy wasnt at school... We got it today. OF COURSE he got all outstandings and a few S pluses. Gotta love first grade. he is blowing his reading and math out of the water.. He is a GENIUS! Of course I think he is.. Im his mom!

Oy.... I think I might have over done it today.. Im all crampy. BUT!! We have some fudge... and yummy cookies.. and a clean kitchen.. plus I tried out a new dinner item that was a bit of a hit with me and the boy. THe other 2 are undecided still.

Whats wrong with that?? If we had one.. I would be all over it already! I cant wait to put one up this year!!! but... ours will be tiny. We are doing a 4ft pre lit this year. Just no room for the 7 footer I wanted. Next year!!! When we have 4 kids worth of gifts to put under it!

Yeah, I had one of those new dinner items the other day.

I needed to use up some leftover chicken, and found a recipe online that uses cream cheese, onion, chicken and spices as filler for pastries made with crescent roll dough. It came out OK, but kinda rich for us, even with the lowfat everything.

I made tater tot casserole. It was delish! Mikalah wouldnt eat it, I think because I had made chocolate chip cookies.. and she wanted THOSE instead. I asked dh what he thought, and all I got was a grunt. So who knows?? Alex loved it. He had seconds.

It's too soon! We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet! I used to know someone who decorated her place for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, which I thought was nuts. I'd get sick to death of the stuff if I had it out that long.

But right after Halloween? Too much for me!
