The Hyena Chat thread: Everyone's welcome!

we are thinking about taking a run down in Dec. for a few days to see the lights...

This just cracked me up today. I'm posting the link, because I can't retell the story nearly as good as she can.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: DH was laughing when I read it to him too. He thought it sounded just like something I would do.

Yep, sounds like somehting I would do too. Hubby just sighs at me, shakes his head and then fixes my "but honey I was soo mad that it wasn't done yet.. so I decided....." moments.

:rotfl2:

Granted... we went at the end of December... but it was pretty chilly and icky when we went. Jeans and coats weather. DEFINITELY NOT shorts weather.

YEP!

Maybe shorts in the sunshine afternoon, but you will want a coat, hat, jeans .. maybe even mittens ..after the sun sets.

BRRRRR

The lower humidity makes it feel a lot cooler, even for the MN winter hardy people :o

I know it! We were used t being there when it stayed light a lot later.. so that was another thing.. It gets dark and cold QUICK. As soon as it warmed up it seemed.

I ran away to the circus.. but then I came back because I missed seeing your Neil Med Sinus thingie picture. ;)

I'm just trying to brainwash everyone. Think I'll just leave it up until every single Hyena gets one and we no longer have any colds on our thread.:lmao:

Unless of course your thermostat is broken like mine. In which case you will be driving around in a convertible in 50 degree weather with only a t-shirt on and people on the freeway staring at you like you are crazy. I truly believe that every woman suffering from hot flashes should trade in her mini-van and get a convertible.

Dear Alex,

Hope you have a most Wonderful Birthday! And because I'm on dial up and posting a cool looking birthday wish is a pain in the rear, just pretend there's a really neat looking HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish below:

(Insert Birthday Photo here).

Thanks Sam. ;)

Hi B....how ya doing...

oh fine, how are you ??

The apt owner turned on the heat in the building-- sniffle sniffle .. fall is here and winter on the way.. wahhhhhhhhhhhhh. He left a note under each person's door to train us how to set the temp and admonishing us with "don't open the windows" to allow the boiler to work and prevent pipes from freezing.

Yeah, whatever dude- chucked it into the trash.
umm, third floor with a huge bank of windows, we get afternoon sun. Those suckers are open! It's hot in here!

Naawwwww! Don't tell me that. I want sun! I want warmth!

Let me rephrase that....before someone else does....I was only wearing a short sleeve t-shirt on my top, of course I also had pants on.:lmao:

Might I suggest WDW instead of DL.:thumbsup2 But you do have to be careful in Florida in the winter and make sure that you don't eat yellow sand.:thumbsup2

Hats? I don't do hats. :snooty: :sad2:

Seriously, coats? I wore shorts & t-shirt during the day, and a sweatshirt in the evenings in February, I just assumed it would be similar. :(

Mmmm, no can do. We're already booked and mostly paid for the rooms (due to a slight error on my part)... :rolleyes1

No matter. As long as it's sunny! Please tell me I will see the sun in December! PLEASE!!!

b...are you making fun of my cheeseballs...

Gina, I bet you have very nice looking cheeseballs. I myself come from a long line of sturdy, hardworking cheeseballs. Why I can even remember my first cheeseball just like it was yesterday. Of course who ever forgets their first cheeseball?;) Just remember to serve the proper wine with your cheeseballs and everything else will be ok.:thumbsup2
