Do you do gifts for your teachers? I never have. Well.. Last year was our first year in school and we didnt do it. Should I? Probably, huh.. I was thinking about getting this shower gel/ bubble bath thing from QVC. The cookie scented ones.. I could do 3 different gifts out of it. What do you think?

Yeah, I do something fairly simple. We started that in daycare/Montessori, bringing in one of those gigantic fruit baskets from Costco for the teachers to share. One of the other moms worked for Starbucks, and used to bring them in this gigantic bag of coffee beans! I'm talking like a 20 lb. bag? Maybe 30?

One of the teachers insisted I take her beans since she didn't drink coffee, and I was in heaven!!!

Anyway, I digress...

So I usually do a Starbucks card, or if I know they don't do coffee (even though they do fruit drinks and teas and stuff at Starbucks) I'll get something like a Jamba Juice card. I think last year I bought a trio of little stuffed critters holding a stocking of gourmet chocolates, so I just tucked the gift card in with the chocolates.

I just flashed back to DH's horror when he saw DS8's 2nd grade teacher last year. He blustered, "She CAN NOT be old enough to be teaching!"
(Umm, honey? She's 31, the same age as his 1st grade teacher...)

I dont know when It happened, but I swear that I dont act, or feel like I am only 27. Mid 30's EASY. I have a hard time believing my own age sometimes. Especially when I listen to other people my age. Must be all the kids.

I KNOW!!! YUMMY. I want one BAD. I have debated whether or not I can justify spending $30 some odd dollars on a cheesecake, but now that I am pregnant.. I think it is okay.

Alex is so cute.. He is giving his sister a play by play of who everyone is in the movie. He has been so protective of her lately. She got upset at my Grandmas house because she wanted to play with the dogs, and they were being put in the other yard... and she went to him... BAWLING... and he got mad, and took off after them! He was gonna break open a can.
