Hey everyone! 
I thought I would write my first pre-trip report!!! I must say I am a bit nervous b/c I can ramble on and on about things I think are cool but to someone else…not so much!! So bear with me and let’s get this little TR started!! 
To follow suite of all the TR Peep Queens that came before me (you know who you are!
) I will introduce myself and my crew!! First of…I’m Tara. 
I just got married on April 13th and live with DH and our 3 dogs and 3 cats. I also have two horses but they aren't on my property. I didn’t become a Disney Addict until last August. I had been to WDW once (the horror!! 
) in 3rd grade…almost 23 years ago!! I had a few visions of it left in my memory, standing in line for Space Mt. and Dumbo, but that’s it. I also recall how my family forgot my sisters 2nd b-day and when we finally remembered it was the next day so all she got was a Mickey head balloon. We later had to pop it to bring it back on the plane…poor sister. Maybe that is why to this day she doesn’t “get” the WDW obsession. She thinks the disboards is a place for weird Disney freaks to hook up. 
To get the ball rolling..it all started with our August 2006 trip. I was working for this wretched family (I’m a nanny) and the only good thing to come out of that job is curiousity about WDW. They took a trip in Dec. 2005 and I remember reading their tour books during the day. A few months after, DH (DF at the time) went to TN on a fishing trip. I guess the saying is right, when the cat’s away the mice play, b/c when he came home I had everything planned out and was eagerly awaiting his ok.
It wasn’t that hard..he hadn’t been to WDW in about 20 years either. His biggest concern was paying for it. I anticipated that and already had a budget ready. DH is in the NAVY (for 1 more month!! 
) so I told him we could stay at Shades of Green for $80/night, no tax. You can’t beat that!! So with a smile on his face we were ready.
I shall jump ahead b/c I don’t want to rehash the August trip. Let’s just say that we fell in love with WDW. I mean not just, “Wow, this is a great place. Maybe someday soon we can come back.” Nope..it was more like me crying the two nights before we had to leave begging DH to bring me back. I think it stemmed from my life the last 4 years. My mom passed away after a very quick battle with cancer in 2004. I have been happy of course since then (I did meet DH afterall!!
) but not truly happy. When I was in WDW I can honestly say it was the happiest I have ever been since she died. So you can imagine the attachment I have for the place! DH is VERY understanding…he said we could come back in 2 years. I was happy with that…for about 2 weeks. 
We had told people that our Aug. trip would be our pre-honeymoon. But the week after we got back I asked DH if we could go again this summer (June 23-July 2nd) and say it was another honeymoon! I didn’t think he would go for it but lo and behold he did!! He doesn’t really get involved with the planning. I basically do it all and go over it all with him so can put in his two cents. Not that he really ever does..he is super laid back!! There are some nights when I ask him if we can talk about Disney and he listens….just to appease me. He really is a great guy!!! He always says, “Have I ever told you no?” I brought that up many times when we starting looking into DVC….but that’s another story for another post.
So that’s the setup for our 2nd honeymoon!! I told you I could ramble!! Next up….the real planning starts and SIL steps on our Disney toes...something I do not take lightly!!!

Today I changed the pic from EE to the entry gates at MK. DH has his own countdown
.he leaves the Navy June 13th. 
So until hes done with serving the good ol governement he isnt interested in my lovely countdowns. Not yet anyway!
I'm looking forward to reading about your next WDW adventure. I'm sorry to hear about your mom. 
I understand, you know that. WDW is my happy place, too. Oh, and I know I'm not supposed to do this yet, since you haven't posted it here yet, but

I am so jealous that you bought SSR DVC!!!! Can't wait to hear more
SIL is another story…she comes across as super sweet but she is a nosey and condescending. When we started planning our 2nd WDW trip she pretended like she was interested. Only to go on to say that we shouldn’t be taking another Disney trip unless we can expand our wedding guest list to accommodate all the distant relatives. (We paid for our wedding 100% by ourselves except my dad’s gf bought our cake)

But I wanted to give it a try since I have heard nothing but rave reviews. We have the middle priced tickets.)
