The Honeymoon We Never Had!!! July 19th-24th

Dh and I were married December 2nd, 2006, instead of taking a honeymoon we took a family Vacation with my two children to Disney World. So Dh decided that He and I are going to take our Disney World Honeymoon this July!! I'm So Excited!!

The Cast

My Wonderful DH: Adam~ Works for a Optical Company and is a fulltime Civil Engineering Student. Awesome Step-dad to Jordan and Brianna. Bass Player in a local band DropList and A Great Husband!

And Me: Jessica~Preschool teacher, Fulltime Nursing Student, and Mommy of 2, An almost 10-year old son Jordan and a 7 year-old daughter Brianna.

We are going to be staying at Caribbean Beach from July 19th-24th. So far thats all the planning we have gotten done. So I only have a little over 2 months to plan our trip Hope I can do it!

I booked our airfare today and got a pretty good deal I think $275.00 for both of us round trip. Neither Dh or I have ever flown before so I'm a little nervous.
Also I was able to change summer vacation dates with my children's dad so they'll be with him the week were gone. We did have to promise them a Christmas Disney Trip.
It seems its all coming together and I think I can plan us a great vacation in only 2 months.

I haven't had a chance to do much planning with work and taking finals. So I have a little of our itinerary done.

Flight Leaves at 10:50 a.m
Arrives at MCO at 1:05 p.m
Pick up Rental Car
Check in at CBR
Head to DTD eat at Earl of Sandwhich, Take some Pictures and Do some shopping.

Monday July 20th
Epcot

Tuesday July 21st
Animal Kingdom
Dinner @ Yak and Yeti's (My Favorite)

Wenesday
Spending the Day at Cocoa Beach (DH has never been to the Ocean)


Thursday
Thinking Maybe Sea World not sure yet maybe Hollywood Studios.

Check out 11 a.m
DTD purchase last of souvenirs and gifts

Hooray for you and your husband! We absolutely love the Caribbean Beach Resort. It's sooo pretty and relaxing. Looking forward to reading more.

So I still haven't gotten much planning done. I thought with the long weekend I would have been able to get somethings done, but instead I ended up making the Long Long drive from Indiana to Ft. Hood (Killeen, TX)
to visit my sister who is in the army and the neice and nephews.

So anyways tonight when my Dh gets home we are paying off our trip! Yeah!!! So excited! I'm also booking our Christmas trip with the kids today We are taking them December 26th -January 1st (My Birthday) and plan on staying at either Poly or Animal Kingdom Lodge haven't decided yet.

Well I booked our December Trip, We looked at all the resorts with the kids and they chose to stay at Pop Century. I was a little surprised but they seemed to really like the atmosphere their so that's where we will be staying!!!

Back to this trip!

I tweeked our itinerary a little bit. We decided against Sea World and That we had to visit the Magic Kingdom. We originally decided not to because it's the only park DH has been to and we wanted to have plenty of time to visit the other parks!! We also decided not to visit Cocoa Beach this trip because DH wants to take the kids since they've never been to Ocean either.


Sunday July 19th
Leave for airport at 6:30 a.m (its about a two and a half hour drive to the Indy Airport)
Flight Leaves Indy at 10:50 a.m
Arrives at MCO at 1:05 p.m

Check in at CBR

So after a series of family situations causing me to have to go to texas a few times, we had to cancel our trip. However we did get to reschedule unfortunatley due to the amount of money it costed me to travel to texas and back to Indiana three times we had to make some cuts. So we are now going From July 19th-23rd and staying at Pop Century, it was really hard to give up Caribbean Beach but we decided we will stay there on our Christmas vacation with the kids.

I just found your pre-trippie! I am so sorry that you have had to cut your trip short, but I am glad that you could be there for your family.

I think you will love the POP. My DH and I stayed there the month it opened and are returning this September for another couples trip.

I am so glad you are finally getting your Disneymoon.

6 days!!!!
I starting to get extremely nervous about flying. I got some of our packing done but I'm no where near done and I'm not sure how I'm going to get it all done Tonight DD has 2 1/2 Hours of Cheerleading/ Gymnastics, Tomorrow I hope to get some stuff done, Wednesday DD has 1 hour of Cheerleading and I promised DH we could go see the new Harry Potter (He's a big harry potter fan). Thursday I have dinner plans with my parents and friday DH'S band is playing so I gotto go see him play, Saturday I have a family get together hoping to leave early so I can finish packing. We leave Sunday at 6:00am. Why does it seem this is the busiest week we have had all summer.

On top of everything we have going to this week I'm sick . Great. I have had cold sypmtoms for a few days but chalked it up to allergies. But now I have a pretty bad cold, and a very sore throat. We leave sunday so I hope I'm better by then.

We went and saw the new Harry Potter last night DH & I didn't like it at all.

I'm almost finished packing and should be done this evening, then I have to pack for DS & DD instead of staying at their dad's my mom is taking them on a mini-vacation to Cedar Point their pretty excited.


Oh and I completely changed our Iteniary (its still not completely done)
