The Honeymoon To End All Honeymoons - Introduction

We had been planning this trip since last October – in fact, it was the idea of going to WDW for a honeymoon that "put the ball in motion" for our engagement!

We decided early on that this would be a trip to end all trips. Specifically, we were going to do all those things that we would not normally do, or could not do if we ever went with kids. At the heart of our plans were nine nights staying in a GF Honeymoon Suite – it was our honeymoon and we were going to live it up! But to save some $$$ we decided to go in November when the value season started, six months after our wedding. As the planning reached a peak, this is what we settled on for an itinerary –

Day 1, Friday – Fly into Orlando late, check-in to the Orlando Airport Marriott
Day 2, Saturday – Check in at GF, breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe, visit Universal's IOA, dinner at CA Grill
Day 3, Sunday – MGM day, lunch at Sci-Fi, dinner at Fulton's, visit Downtown Disney
Day 4, Monday – Backstage Safari Tour, AK day, dinner at Palio, see Cirque du Soleil
Day 5, Tuesday – Epcot day, lunch at Nine Dragons, dinner at Luau
Day 6, Wednesday – Universal Studios day, dinner at Yachtsmen's Steakhouse, Illuminations Cruise
Day 7, Thursday – Magic Behind Our Steam Trains tour, MK day, lunch at Cindy's, Fantasmic dinner package
Day 8, Friday – Backstage Magic tour, dinner at Jikos
Day 9, Saturday – DW's day, dine at V&A's Chef's Table
Day 10, Sunday – Free day, couples massage at GF Spa, dinner at Artist Point
Day 11, Monday – Fly home

A really ambitious plan, but we were counting on Early Entry to make much of this possible. Our game plan was to see as much as we could in the mornings, relax in the afternoon, then spend the evenings out and about.
