This is what we dealt with too! We were lucky that my kids got to use the shooting gallery in MK before that closed.

We missed out on that, too. Last time my boys hung out there while I went to ride BTMRR.

As much as I appreciate "Tradition", some of these early generation / guest favorite rides need the "Next Generation" upgrades.
Hard to believe the Imagineers couldn't accomplish both.

I agree. There is a way to keep the charm of the original and still up the wow factor a bit. I would love to see Peter Pan get a makeover with some new-style animatronics, etc.

Maybe some "dips" to ground level then back up , Fly into the alligator's mouth looking for the clock, Hook , 3 D Tink , etc.

I am one of those late Julyers - these announcements are coming way too late. They've known about this for awhile! And giving 4 weeks notice for the Genie+ demise is absurd-I highly doubt it is ready to roll! It should be bookable on desktop to start so there won't be so many trying on the 24th. Guests shoud be able to book 7 days in advance on the desktop.

No right now it looks like we are waiting for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure operating reliability, end of VQ for it, and Peter Pan reopening. So it might be August or even into September as of now.
