Interesting. I just read quite a lot of the Trip Advisor reviews.
All seemed thoughtful with specific reasons why WDW was a terrible experience quite recently. Most were veteran Disney goers, listing specific month-year dates for multiple past trips. Several things mentioned were similar to our fall trip, though ours weren't nearly as bad.
We did, however, find more CMs would say they were exhausted or stressed, something that would never EVER have happened previously. One woman told me quietly it just wasn't the same Disney anymore. She added, "And I don't mean Covid..." That was absolutely unprecedented! I felt so for her, as she said she'd been there for over a decade. We only go once a year; she was dealing with the changes for the worse every day she worked.
There were a number of CMs who looked grouchy or acted put upon.
Our housekeeper, though, had teary eyes when I handed her $10 for no reason but that she'd looked so run ragged when we saw her each day in the hallway. We hadn't asked for anything extra. I just told her we knew they all were working so hard, and we appreciated all they do for us.
I fear the magical home so many of us love is gone and won't return to any extent unless people vow to take their vacations elsewhere and follow through.
