I'm still watching! I was so annoyed with Stephanie at Lauren's work. She just sat there while the phone was ringing and when Lauren yelled at her to pick it up, she just looked at Lauren like "What?" with a dumb face.

Can't wait to see the guys' faces when the girls crash in on their Hawaii trip!

I agree about Stephanie. Is she really THAT dumb? Just watching her gets on my nerves.

I'm sure the guys won't be too unhappy to see the girls....obviously Brody has no problem with it since he apparently hooks up with Audrina. YUCK! Not an Audrina fan at all.

MTV announces 'The Hills' will continue without Lauren Conrad

In a move that comes as little surprise, MTV has announced that The Hills will continue despite the departure of Lauren Conrad, the reality show's main star.

Rather than ending with coverage of this past weekend's wedding of The Hills co-stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt as previously planned, the show's fifth season will now continue with new episodes that will air this fall.

"Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds, so the stakes are higher than ever before for the two to make things work," MTV announced in a press release. "Viewers will find out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships, relationships and loyalties are tested like never before."

In addition to Montag and Pratt, the additional fifth-season episodes will also feature Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, Justin Bobby, and several "fresh faces," according to MTV.

Conrad had announced -- and The Hills executive producer Liz Gately.had subsequently confirmed -- the show's currently-airing fifth season would be her last season on the show in February. According to recent reports, Conrad already completed her fifth-season filming several weeks ago.

Although The Hills currently ranks as MTV's top-rated series, both the network and the show's producers had repeatedly declined to say whether they planned to attempt to continue the show without Conrad, who has served as the show's lead star and narrator since it first began as a spinoff of the network's since-canceled Laguna Beach reality series she had appeared in.

"I can't even say if there is a next season. I have no information for you on The Hills beyond Lauren Conrad," executive producer Adam DiVello told E! News last month. "We're focusing on this season, and this will likely be our highest-rated season yet. I think a lot of people are going to tune in to see Lauren wrap her storyline."

Shortly afterward, Patridge announced that she had signed her own reality show development deal with reality TV uber-producer Mark Burnett and would also be leaving The Hills at the conclusion of the its fifth season.

Earlier this month, Patridge had said that a network pickup announcement for her new show -- which she'd gushed would be "a little spicier, edgier, older" than The Hills -- would be coming "soon."

So what do you guys think really happened between Audrina and Brody in Brody's room? Brody's saying he made a mistake by cheating on his g/f, but Audrina's saying she just slept over and nothing happened. I think something did happen.

Ok, I don't get it. Why is it ok with Lauren for Audrina to hook up with the "Brodester" but not Jenn Bunny? It's not like Audrina asked "permission".

And they totally hooked up. I was a little shocked that Brody admitted it the next day that he cheated on his girlfriend. He seemed like the type of guy that would live in denial until it blew over.

I could never be friends with Lauren. She seems to always give her friends looks and talks to them like she's better and/or smarter than them.

I think the difference between Audrina getting together with Brody and Jenn Bunny (is that REALLY her name??) getting together with Brody is that Lauren was actually seeing Brody back then. Jenn Bunny went behind Lauren's back to try to hook up with him. I don't know that Lauren thinks it's all that great for Audrina to hook up with him either since he is with someone else.

And regarding Audrina supposedly just sleeping in his room...YEAH RIGHT, we're talking about Brody Jenner here. PUHLEEEZE!!

I think it is just the show where they are friends.

No one commented on Lauren not coming back to the hills.
Does she think she is that great of an actress.
Sure, she is popular, (because she is on the Hills).

I just couldn't believe how rude Stephanie was being to Lauren. Lauren was trying to explain to her what to do and telling her that work was really important, but Stephanie was only worried about her new guy.

Did Lauren say she was leaving the show because she wants to be an actress? I thought she said she was leaving because she wanted a normal life.

I have no plans of watching the show when Lauren is gone because they've already said it will be mostly about Speidi. NOT INTERESTED!!!! Kristin Cavallari coming back doesn't motivate me either...I never liked her.

Ohh...I have watched since LB....it is SOOO scripted. Last night's show was the worst for scripting.

I'm sad that Lauren is finishing up but excited to see what Kristin's part will be in the dramas.

It's Justin Bobby's eyes that make him hot, nothing else, he always looks like he needs a shower to me, never used to think Brody was hot but maybe he's grown on me

Now that Conrad has left the hit MTV reality series, Kristin Cavallari is taking her place.

MTV publicist Emily Yeomans confirms Cavallari will replace Conrad on the show. The season-five finale on May 31 marks Cavallari's "Hills" debut.

The 22-year-old aspiring actress caught the bouquet at the April 25 wedding of the series' duo, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. The event was filmed by MTV.

Cavallari became a celebrity in 2004 when MTV tracked her high school love life and rivalry with Conrad on the reality show "Laguna Beach."
