Sadly, I don't have the time to write a full-scale trip report (heck, I don't have the time to write my name this time of year!), but I did want to share the highlights of our trip to the World on December 14-16.
1. Boma
We ate at Boma for dinner the night we got in. This was my Christmas present to my mom and my aunt. All of the food was fabulos, but the best was the pineapple cheesecake dessert! It was a little expensive, but it was completely worth it. We've decided that it should be a tradition from now on.
2. The Boat
We took a boat to the Poly from the Magic Kingdom one day to see the Christmas decorations. I got to honk the horn. It was quite a thrill.
3. Pins! Pins! And More Pins!
I love pin trading. However, I haven't actually traded in awhile, so that was a goal of mine this trip. First, on the boat ride to MGM, a CM gave me one of the YOAMD pins! I was so excited! Then, at MGM, I tried to trade my HSM 2 pin (which I got as a gift) for an Animal Kingdom pin. Well, the CM told me that she couldn't make me give up my HSM pin, so she gave me the pin, and I got to keep my HSM pin. I traded my HSM pin the next day for one of the Hidden Mickey pins. I also bought a very cool snowman Mickey pin. Then, we went to a DVC open house (which I will own one day, or else my DIS name isn't rwrocksme) and the woman working it gave me an exclusive DVC member pin! It was so exciting!
SO, those are the highlights of our trip. Sorry it's so brief. Next time, I'll do a full TR.
