Grant (my other half) and I got back from our four night stay at HNY on Friday evening, and right now are in London spending a weekend with my parents before we all head down to the family home in Cornwall tomorrow evening.

It was a very eventful trip, but for now here is a brief run down of the highs and lows. I'll be getting the trip report up as soon as possible!

Highs

- Grant asking me a very big question, but more on that in my trip report!
- Getting to see the park through a first-timer's eyes. Grant loved the parks and can't wait to start planning our next trip.
- Eating at Blue Lagoon and Walts, we were very impressed by the food.
- The character interaction at Inventions; we're now hooked on character meals!
- Christmas; the park decorations were amazing as ever, and I loved the little market in Disney Village.
- Crowds; it was so quiet! Our longest queue was 20 minutes for Crush.
- EMH, I've never utilised it before; the park is so much more magical when it's near empty.
- Staff; in general they were all so much more friendly and enthusiastic than this time last year (see two exceptions in 'lows').

Lows

- Inattentive staff bringing down otherwise lovely meals. Our hostess in Annette's and our first waitress in Blue Lagoon seemed bored and standoffish.
- Belle's Christmas Village was closed up all week with no clear explanation.
- Not a fault of the park, but some of the other guests were very entitled! Twice we saved parade spots 45 minutes early, only to have people try and shoulder us out of the way or encourage their kids to push in fornt of us when the parade began.
- Toilets; I'm sure you all know what I mean. I few times I went into a cubicle only to find something very nasty on the floor.

However, overall it was an absolutely amazing trip packed full of memories - I'm itching to set a date for our next trip!

We stayed at the New York Hotel and came home the same day as you. I agree there were no crowds it was amazing not having to queue for anything apart from Autopia! Also great that when Dumbo was closed for EMH because of the wind and rain they opened Pinocchio instead.
I was upset that Belle's Village was not open as it sated it was open from 10am - 6pm but it never was. We experienced a lot of lovely CM's apart from a girl working in the shop at Sequoia Lodge Hotel who was particularly rude. I am tempted to complain but forgot to take her name.
We ate at both Walts and Blue Lagoon and i thing they are the best reastaurants at Disney.
With regards to the toilets i agree often wet floors when there is absolutely no need as they have the toilet covers so there is no need not to sit down. Also someone had been sick outside the toilets at Studio 1 and it took a long time to be cleared up.
With regards to parades we have always found it to be the same we wait a long time in the copld and then at the last minute someone comes along and barges into you. This time i had a ladies camera basically stuck to the side of my head as she tried to take pictures from behind me.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! I hope that otherwise you had a lovely trip. :thumbsup2
