I haven't had to read anything yet haha. I probably should volunteer. People talk ten years and I'm a fast reader.

My friend's from Canada but she likes spelling 'color' without the u, I guess it's just a preference thing.

I just always thought people were spelling it wrong haha.

I never volunteer to read, but my teacher always picks me. We have 14 people in our class, and just about three of us can read well. I have been Romeo, Juliet, Friar, and Tybalt. Yeah.......Tybalt was one of the worst. I had to the scene where he dies. The teacher made me act it out with a fat guy 3x my size. It was the worst day ever.

I thought he looked so adorable in his gold suit- ready for Vegas! And he looked adorable when he won 8 awards. But he didn't look adorable during some certain other parts that I don't really wanna talk about, ahaha. But why was he not sittin' next to his momma? I'd be like "chick. move. I'm here 'cause of my momma, let me sit next to her. You did nothing to help me get to this moment, MOMMA COME HERE."

Thanks, Timmy!!! I love the Tinkerbell pic! (:

I can't believe how many of of us on the TB are reading Romeo and Juliet in English right now. I'm not finished yet and I'm supposed to watch some of it tomorrow since we're skipping some of the reading since that would take too long to get through, but I'm reading Act 2 tonight.

So we watched Mulan in APUSH today for no reason other than the fact we had a sub.

But the sub was watching the talent show from last week on the school channel (we had hooked up Mulan on the Smart Board) and it was rather difficult to take Mulan as seriously as you're supposed to when these two seniors performed this really funny original rap.

They were robbed, though. They should have placed first instead of second.

I had to read Romeo and Juliet last year. I would have liked it a lot better if my teacher didn't insist on reading pretty much all the parts on her own, she butchered it so bad. :headache:

ah, freshman year. Memories.

My teacher switched it up by casting all the male roles with girls (I was Benvolio for one sword fight scene) and the female roles with guys.

Interesting mornings were the result of that class...

14?! We've got 31 people in my Honors English I class. And most of us are girls. Seriously. There's only 5 boys. So, we mainly have girls read the boy parts. Funny thing is, people think it's hilarious to have the boys read the girls parts so that's the only thing the boys do end up reading; Lady Capulet, Juliet, Nurse, etc.

LOLZ My English teacher used to split up the classes into girls and guys when R&J came around, but now its just by our Math Classes as usual (Integrated Math 1 and Integrated Math 2)

I've so far played Romeo and Sampson in class. I liked acting out Sampson better.

Philadelphia is a city in Pennsylvania
Harrisburg is the capital

Your own personal cheat sheet. :teeth:

...Harrisburg you say? Interesting.. very, very, very interesting. There's a Harrisburg in North Carolina too. We drive through it when we're near the race track.
Did ya know there's a Dallas in NC too? I was just there yesterday. (:
