The Haunted Mansion, Why NO gift shop??

I know part of the fun is the hunt, but if you're really desperate for a T-Shirt - call merchandising. I remember seeing a T-Shirt - so maybe they still have them somewhere. My wife got me a Haunted Mansion antenna topper at Villains in Vogue at MGM - so there is some stuff scattered throughout the resort. 407-363-6200

If you look at the rides that have gift shops at the exit it is mostly a recent thing... some time after BTMRR and Splash mountain were built as I believe if these were being built today they would almost definitely exit into a gift shop.

I would have sworn that you exited through a gift shop at Splash Mountain as you pass the photo pick-up area. I know that is where we bought t-shirts a couple of years ago.

Yes, Splash has a small giftshop. That shop has a really nice selection of Disney games.

I bought a shirt from this "invisible" store for my husband, and when he put it on and walked around the park, he was stopped by security and was told to put some clothes on. I explained where I had bought the shirt and even showed them the shop, he was then taken to first aid where they gave him a shirt and a cold compress.

I will never shop at an invisible store again!

That's nothing. You should have seen the looks I got this past summer when I wore those HM shorts I bought from that same stand. Guess I should have worn boxers instead of those new speedos.

HM is one of our favorites too and we would also like to see a gift shop with HM stuff. But, please don't complain about "all" the Nightmare Before X-mas stuff!!! We have been waiting so long for the parks to start carrying the stuff, I don't want to see it disappear!!

I didn't realize that, we'll have to check it out when we are walking out of Splash next time.

I'm one of those people who like to look inside every gift shop. I am also disappointed with the small, almost non exsistent amount of HM merch. And now I don my flame suit, I'm glad people can find NMBC merch but it shouldn't be at the expense of HM merch. DL is the same as well. I know in DL there is a shop near the HM that you'd think would carry HM stuff but it is all NMBC, I was very disappointed.

It seems like all I could ever find was the poster and the small musical snowglobe but, here...have this NMBC jacket, stuffies, shirts, purses, jewelry (insert anything here). Doesn't seem justified!

My DH remembers a small shop that sold HM merchandise years ago. He said that it had masks and cool stuff. I hope they bring it back because we love coming off rides and looking at the souveniers..you can always find something even if you don't need it!

We collect the small plushes for each ride, and got the mickey butler plush at the cart outside across from the Liberty Tree

There is quite a bit of HM stuff on the Disney website right now perhaps it will be coming to WDW soon. One can hope.

oooohhhh!!! I know!!! Those statues are too cool! Don't think I can afford them all plus get them shipped up here to Canada. Those would make a great addition to my Halloween yard decor

I would enjoy having a wider range of HM items to choose from. Whether that's a seperate shop, or just a section of the Emporium, they could get even more $ out of me

HM is one of my very favorites, too! When we were there in June, the 6 of us wore T-shirts from our favorite rides/attractions one day at MK. I got my HM shirt on the first day we were there from the little cart outside of HM. When we went back in September, I went over to the cart to see if they had any new stuff I just "had" to have! It was all Nightmare before Christmas stuff. I know that not every ride has to have a gift shop, but I am like you, I would love some more HM stuff!

They have pretty much done the same thing at DL. All I wanted from DL was a tee shirt with the DL Mansion on it. The entire DL store had been converted to selling Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise exclusively. NOTHING was there regarding the Haunted Mansion.

I got a GREAT shirt from eBay after I got home.

THE HAUNTED MANSION RULES!!

Several years ago DH bought a Haunted Mansion shirt at the cart which was pretty cool. He still has it although it is a bit worn out and I was hoping to get him a replacement HM shirt when we return in two weeks.
It would stink if there were no longer any HM shirts.

The sad thing is that they actually have a LOT more HM stuff now, compared to just a few years ago! It used to be all but nonexistant. However, I still don't think they have anywhere near enough! HM has one of the biggest fan followings, but there's such a slim selection!
