for my english lit exam we did 4 hours of coursework comparing poetry
we read 4 books (2 post WW2 books and 2 literary heritage books), 2 were plays and one of those was shakespeare
we then had 2 exams of 1 hour 30 minutes where we had to write 3 essays on 2 of the books

they're changing it to
no coursework
shakespeare, romantic era poetry, a 19th century novel, poetry since 1850 and british fiction and drama post WW1

that literally sounds so boring

if you do history gcse then at least 40% of it has to be british history including medieval times, early modern and modern british history and at least 25% has to be modern world history

my current gcse is 25% british history and 75% modern world history (vietnam, cold war and the rise of hitler)
i know barely anything about the history of this country apart from in year 7 when we had to come into school dressed as peasants when we were learning about the feudal system

I've been using so much lotion lately because my arms and legs get all dry from being out in the sun forever

Luckily I'm accumulated tons of yummy smelling Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secret's lotions over the years.
