i tried reading two Dan Brown novels.

the first, while i finished it, i also guessed every single twist at least 50 pages before it actually happened. I guessed the major "reveal" within the first 1/3rd of the novel, even though it wasn't revealed until the very last pages.

the second book, i figured out who the antagonist really was before i reached page 100 and then decided to see if i was right so i skipped to the end. i was right and i was pissed because i felt it was a cheap "twist" so i stopped reading.

i always clean up after myself/us at restaurants and such because "leave the place better than you found it" was beaten into my head by 12 years in Girl Scouts.

i'll never understand why people on the DIS get so up in arms over families sending a couple people to secure a table while the others get the food.

i'm sorry that my family of five doesn't feel like waiting in the line itself and then maneuvering around trying to find a table while laden down with trays.
