I am a very sad DISer who is 2 months away from her first DLRP Halloween, and cannot wait
!!
We have always watched the main parade from opposite the Bella Notte, and so have seen the princesses dance when the parade stops.
I think this year, it would add something to the whole Halloween experience if we saw the Villains float when the parade stops. Looking at DLRPMagics parade route, that looks like we should be at the right hand side section of the seats at the Castle stage, looking at the stage. Would that be the best place to be, or is there a better one? I've never waited longer than about 15 minutes at my parade spot before it starts, and I guess I'm going to have to extend that quite a bit to get a good spot for the Villains float?
What about the Pirates/Peter Pan float - where is the best place to be to see that one when the floats stop on the parade route? We will probably watch the parade at least twice on our stay (I'm going to try really hard not to watch it every day - I've failed every single visit so far
) so the Peter Pan float would be another I'd like to see.
Also, the Halloween pre-parade before the main one - I'm sure I've seen that this is 20 minutes before the main parade - so does that mean it starts at say, 3.40pm, and then there is a break, then the main parade? Or is it pretty much pre-parade finishes, then main parade starts?
